Perfect for families, friends or anyone visiting Cologne who wants a spacious and special place to stay. The space Welcome to Villa Steinmetz – a home with character and history. The villa was originally built by a stonemason family, and many of the handcrafted details have been preserved to this day. From the solid stone table in the living room to the intricate elements in the floors and walls, you can feel the craftsmanship that went into creating this house in almost every room. At the same time, the villa offers modern comfort and plenty of space for quality time together. The house spans three floors and accommodates up to seven guests. On the ground floor you'll find the spacious living room with a decorative fireplace (not in use), as well as the dining area for long evenings together. There's plenty of room to eat, talk, or simply enjoy a relaxed evening. There are 4 bedrooms in total with 3 double beds and 1 single bed for up to 7 guests. For an 8th person, an additional single bed is available in a small adjoining room connected to one of the bedrooms. The bathroom features an original Jacuzzi – perfect for unwinding after a day in Cologne or an excursion in the surrounding area. In the basement, a special highlight awaits: your own private bar. Many guests use this space to round off the evening together. The terrace invites you to start the day relaxed with a morning coffee or wind down in the evening with a glass of wine. The centerpiece of the terrace is the outdoor fireplace with a cozy seating area – a starter supply of firewood is provided. A magical gathering spot for sociable evenings, even as the temperatures begin to drop. Guest access You’ll have the entire home to yourself – private and undisturbed. Self check-in via smart lock allows flexible arrival at any time of day. You will receive your personal access code before arrival, so there’s no key needed and no waiting. Other things to note A parking space is available directly at the house. Many guests use Uber or taxis to travel to Cologne. The trip to the cathedral, trade fair or airport usually takes about 20 minutes. The price for groups is often around five euros per person per trip.
