Your adventure begins at this peaceful and centrally located harbor home. After spending the day exploring, come back to your comfortable home away from home and hangout by the fire pit on the private fenced patio or relax inside by the cozy gas fireplace and stream a movie on the big screen TV. Stay in a walkable historic neighborhood filled with turn of the century homes. There is a playground and disc golf course one block away at Sam Benn Park. Six people max. Dogs are welcome! The space The backyard is fully fenced and has a covered patio and fire pit. There is also a turf area to relieve dogs. Blankets for staying warm outside are in the laundry room. The living and dining areas and kitchen are all one open space wonderful for everyone to gather together. One of the bedrooms has a desk and can also function as a designated workspace. The bedrooms are up a carpeted flight of stairs. The front porch is a cozy space to read or have coffee on nice mornings or to relax on a sunny afternoon. Guest access The only spaces not for guest use are the locked basement (unless there is an emergency which requires access to the electrical panel or water shut off), a locked closet upstairs and some locked cabinets downstairs. Other things to note Stairs: There are a few stairs into the house and garage. There is a slight step down from the laundry room to the kitchen. All of the bedrooms and one bathroom are up a flight of carpeted stairs. The landing at the top of the stairs has a very low rail overlooking the staircase which could be unsafe for little climbers. Flooring: There is carpeting in all of the bedrooms. The rest of the house has vinyl plank flooring with rugs. There is a dog gate at the bottom of the stairs in case you want to limit your pet’s access upstairs. Please use the gate indoors only.
