Our charming loft is a perfect quiet getaway for two with gorgeous views of Sonoma Mountain off your private deck, lovely garden area, kitchenette, wireless and cable TV - all within minutes of some of Sonoma’s finest wineries and restaurants. If you are looking for a quiet, private getaway with fantastic views and class amenities yet reasonably priced and centrally located between downtown Sonoma and some of the most prized wineries in California, look no farther. Our sunny loft is 10 minutes from downtown Sonoma, Glen Ellen or Kenwood and literally minutes from many fantastic wineries and hiking trails. The private deck has spectacular views of Sonoma Mountain over oak treetops and a private garden retreat below full of grapevines, roses and fruit trees. The loft is fully furnished with a comfy queen bed, all natural linens, AC, free wireless and cable TV. There is a full bathroom with shower and all amenities. The kitchenette has a microwave, small fridge, sink, french press/coffee maker and Peet’s coffee provided. A chilled bottle of Sauvignon Blanc awaits you (with a 2 night stay)…All you need for a lovely, stress-free getaway. We provide information and recommendations to wineries, restaurants, hiking trails and other activities here in the Valley. And if you don’t find what you are looking for, we are just a text or phone call away. There is a dedicated parking spot for you near your gate entrance. We live on the property but Lily's Loft is on the second floor of a detached building, set back from the house and very private. You will walk along the perimeter of our yard to your private entrance so you may see us waving from our back deck. We are often home and here to greet our guests, but will never intrude. We value your privacy but are, of course just a “hey”, text or call away if you need us. We have a 5 yr old golden retriever which may provide an exuberant hello if met in the back yard - we will keep her in most of the time but please let us know if you would prefer if this is an issue and we will be extra cautious. We love to provide guests with suggestions on our favorite wineries, shops, places to eat and things to do from a locals perspective so don’t hesitate to ask! Lily’s loft is located in a quiet wooded neighborhood on the north end of town on the way to Glen Ellen and Kenwood. There are some fabulous wineries literally within a few miles of the house. Also close by are great restaurants, Oak Hill Farm, Boverie Preserve, Sonoma Regional Park, Botanical Gardens, Jack London State Park and more. Heading the other direction is the Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa and, of course, historic Sonoma Plaza, walking trails and a multitude of wineries to the south and east of town. The historic Sonoma Plaza features charming shops, art galleries and restaurants; several historical landmarks including Mission San Francisco Solano de Sonoma, established by Franciscan Priests in the early 1800s; and a sampling of Sonoma's fine wineries and tasting rooms. May through October, the Plaza comes alive Tuesday evenings for the Farmer's Market where locals and tourists meet to shop for and sample fresh seasonal produce, enjoy picnics on the lawn and listen to live music of various genres. In addition to the Plaza, Sonoma offers great trails for hiking, biking and nearby parks for exploration and relaxation. We are more than happy to recommend the best of Sonoma as well as off-the-beaten-path spots for the truly adventuresome. We provide dedicated parking. Having a car is the easiest way to get around the Valley but if you want to enjoy the many wineries in Sonoma without worry, there are a number of companies that offer car service. - Guests have access to wireless internet and cable TV. - You can access On Demand movies - if you choose to watch kindly leave the cost of the movie on the cabinet. - We have provided a number of amenities for you to use as needed and ask that you leave the rest for future guests. - There is a $50 cleaning fee - 9% Sonoma County Tax (TOT or Hotel) is charged by Airbnb on your final bill - County of Sonoma Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT or Hotel) certificate number is 1502N.
