They will be cleaned prior to your arrival, but may require daily cleaning. Brooms are readily available. The yard is mostly sand and dirt and natural vegetation. We recommend using the rinse bucket provided on the deck to reduce sand being tracked inside. No laundry is available on-site, but a laundromat is located about 2 miles away in downtown Big Bay. The driveway is shared, so please avoid blocking the neighbor’s access. Parking at the end of the drive closest to the cabin generally accommodates 3-4 vehicles. Pictures in guidebook will assist with parking details. Parking is limited, and winter parking requires planning since roadside parking is not allowed. Please plan accordingly if bringing multiple vehicles or trailers. Guest access You'll have private access to entire cabin and small beach area on property. A unique 4-digit code will be provided the day before your arrival for the lock box. Key for the cabin will be inside. Please keep key stored in lock box. Driveway is shared with one neighbor. Any locked cabinets are for host use only. Other things to note FIREPLACES Outdoor Fire Pit: Feel free to gather kindling and down branches from the property to start your fire. Additional firewood may be purchased (cash only for drop box) in Big Bay, just south of the Outfitters. Benches around firepit are likely to shift with the changing beach sand due to changing water levels and various weather. Please adjust as you like! *Do not leave fire unattended. Be sure to put fire out completely when finished. Indoor Fireplace (living room): Cozy up by this fire any time of year! Flue is open and fireplace is ready for your use. Homemade fire starters are availble to assist with building a fire in this space. Kindling may be gathered on-site and additional firewood may be purchased in Big Bay (see above). Keep doors closed when not tended. FIREPLACE IN DINING ROOM IS NO LONGER IN USE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BURN ANYTHING IN THIS SPACE.
