We provide a well maintained path to ensure access to the dock and ramp is as seamless as possible. Safety: The dock, ramp, and gear are "Use at Your Own Risk." Please ensure all children wear life jackets near the water. Other things to note Important Information Before You Book We want to make sure Tin Top on Lanier is the perfect fit for your group. Please take a moment to review these details regarding our lakeside amenities: Water Safety: The flip side of being on a beautiful deep water mountain lake is the topography itself. We maintain a clean clear path with well maintained steps leading down to the water, but because of the mountain terrain, it is a steep incline walking back up to the house. It serves as an amazing nature walk and a fantastic workout, but I always like to give my guests a transparent heads up so you are fully aware of the landscape ahead of time. Please be mindful of this if you have guests in your group with limited mobility. Because this path leads to our private dock and ramp, please note that all water access and gear usage is "Use at Your Own Risk." We do not provide a lifeguard, so please ensure children wear life jackets at all times near the water. Boat Ramp & Dock: Guests are welcome to use our private single-slip dock and boat ramp. If you are bringing a boat, please let us know in advance so we can provide the best guidance on water levels and docking procedures. Quiet Hours: While the party deck is built for fun, we are located in a peaceful residential community. Strictly enforced quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM. This applies to all outdoor areas, including the deck and dock. Max Occupancy: Our home sleeps 13 comfortably across 5 bedrooms. This limit is strictly enforced to comply with local Gainesville safety regulations and to protect our septic system. Stairs & Terrain: As is common with Lake Lanier properties, there is a walk down to the water. The path is well-maintained, but please be mindful if you have guests with mobility concerns. No Parties/Events: While we love hosting groups and families, Tin Top is not an event venue. Large unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited.
