We offer two unique private glamping sites-the Yurt and the "Moon Base" Flying Cloud Airstream. Each provides its own comfortable accommodations and outdoor space, making them ideal for a peaceful couples' getaway. Families, friends, or two couples traveling together can reserve both sites, allowing everyone to stay close while still enjoying the privacy of their own retreat. Book both for a memorable shared escape beneath the beautiful Texas night sky. If you have ever wanted to test-drive an Airstream, this is your opportunity. We have done all the towing and hookups for you so you can just relax under the stars on secluded private property. Explore the Airstream's minimalist cozy world that mimics a moon lander starship or sit outside near a warm fire under the moon and stars. We can also arrange for you to watch a movie on our own special "silver" screen. You might wake up to deer grazing just outside your window or have a slow morning sipping coffee outside as the sun rises over the live oaks. We encourage you to wander. The land has stories to tell, whether through a hypnotic walk among blooming cactus or the unexpected thrill of finding an arrowhead or a geode (yes, you can keep them!). You might hear the low thud of ordinance from a nearby army base or the rumble of rocket testing from SpaceX’s engine facility about 20 miles away. It’s all part of the wild blend of natural wonder and human ambition that makes this part of Texas so unique. We love it here—and we hope you will too. Guest access Guests have access to the secluded 14 acres of Pennington Grove although there is the potential for an additional guest to be on property at our other yurt glampsite located approximately 150 feet away. The layout of the two glampsites provides each with a level of privacy. Other things to note Pennington Grove is a working farm and is the habitat for a small apiary. The location is more than 250 feet from either glampsite and is well-marked with signage so guests do not accidentally engage with the bees. There is the potential to encounter bees at certain times of the year as they forage, but they really do not pose a threat when they are away from their hive unless provoked.
