Where the air is crisp, the skies are wide, and your only neighbors are grazing cattle and curious barn cats. Welcome to Oostema Farmstead, our 117-acre working Wagyu farm in Whatcom County. Here, we’ve carved out a peaceful corner just for adults, those who crave space to breathe, rest, and reconnect with what matters. Bring your own RV (no tents or car camping) and settle into one of our private, grassy sites. Each one comes with its own fire pit and plenty of room to stretch out. Whether you’re traveling solo or with your partner, this is a place to slow down and truly unwind. We’ve hosted hundreds of guests who tell us the same thing: “I didn’t realize how much I needed this.” Your Stay Includes: A peaceful, adult-only atmosphere (16+ only) Private campsite with fire pit and Wi-Fi access Hot outdoor shower, clean portable bathrooms, and dishwashing sink Farm-fresh products available for purchase: Wagyu beef, eggs, bacon, and sausage Scenic walking and biking paths, perfect for photography and nature lovers Nearby Adventures When you're ready to explore, you'll find: Mount Baker’s stunning hiking trails Bellingham’s breweries, shops, and farmers' markets Lummi Island, Whatcom Falls, and local wineries Before You Book Because we value peace and privacy for every guest, we ask that you confirm you’ve read the listing by messaging the word “FARMSTEAD” when booking. It helps us ensure that everyone who stays here is on the same page. We welcome one well-behaved dog per site (please see our pet policy), and ask that all guests arrive by 9 PM unless otherwise arranged. Quiet hours run from 10 PM to 7 AM. No guests under 16 are allowed due to the nature of our working farm. This isn’t just a campsite. It’s a chance to slow down, breathe deeper, and rediscover what peace feels like.
