Little Oakland Farm

Enjoy this peaceful getaway - a great spot to go kayaking (2 kayaks) and standup paddle boarding (2 SUPs), fishing from the dock, playing board games or reading on the screen porch. Located on a small creek near the Mobjack Bay Marina, about 15 minutes from Mathews Courthouse and about 20 minutes from Gloucester Courthouse, where you'll find plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. The creek can be particularly shallow at low tide in case you are bringing a large boat. The space There are two bedrooms downstairs (one with queen bed and one with twin beds) and one full bath (shower/bath), along with two bedrooms upstairs (one with twin beds and one with two bunk beds) with another full bath. All linens and towels are provided. Other things to note Please note that this is a small cottage on a working farm that sits on Oakland Creek with its own dock. This is a tidal creek, which is about 2 feet at low tide. We recommend bringing water shoes to wear to enter the creek with kayaks or stand up paddle boards as there are oysters on the bottom.
