The Bridge River Retreat @ Hideaway on the Hocking

This unique waterfront retreat perched atop a vintage railroad bridge foundation offers views and luxury accommodations that are off the rails! The 16’ metallic fireplace and wall of windows is a teaser to all that awaits inside. A steel-framed kitchen and warm, industrial accents hint to the old trains that came right through this cabin, while the second-floor loft bedroom, with its stone wall, metal canopy bed, and private balcony offers the best views in this one-of-a-kind river retreat! The space This 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat is a hideaway in every sense of the word. Once you round the sidewalk to the riverfront wall of glass, your journey begins. These floor to ceiling windows offer panoramic views of the Hocking River below. An open floor plan with cozy living, dining and kitchen areas is perfect for gathering and entertaining around the gas fireplace. A large outdoor patio boasts a private hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, gas grill, outdoor shower, and plenty of seating to take in the views from the riverfront deck. This cabin comfortably sleeps 6 between the first-floor main bedroom with king bed, loft bedroom with queen bed and the open living space with a queen sofa bed. Guest access The Bridge is located within the gated Hideaway on the Hocking resort property. You will receive an access code for the resort gate and your rental property 7 days before your stay. Your code is only active for the duration of your stay. It will activate at your check-in time (4:00pm) and it will deactivate at your check-out time (11:00am). This code will be used to enter the front gate of the property and your personal rental. To access, you will hit the YALE button on the keypad, type in your access code and then hit the Checkmark button. Wait until you hear door unlock completely before trying to open. Other things to note Located within the Hideaway on the Hocking resort, you can spend your days exploring miles of private trails, kayaking the Hocking River, picking fresh corn and tomatoes from our flower-lined garden or escaping to one of our panoramic Hideouts. Once you've enjoyed the sunset over the river, you can cap off the evening with a fire under the stars or a dip in your private hot tub. Traveling with family or friends? Gather together at The Quarry, our community pavilion with 16' double-sided fireplace, comfy leather seating and dining tables large enough for a group meal.
