New cabin - ski in/out - great view

New, ski in/out, cosy- and spacious cabin with 4 bedrooms + loft, 2 bathrooms and sauna. This is mountain paradise and a fantastic place to enjoy alpine skiing on piste or in the large offpiste areas, alpine touring in the surrounding mountains, cross country skiing or kite skiing. Then enjoy the magnificent view from the terrace or next to the fireplace. During summer, explore Jotunheimen, or the historic "Kongevegen", bike on old gravel roads deep into the mountains or try trout fishing. The space Filefjell is a winter and summer paradise. The cabin is super close to the the ski resort with only 100m to the pistes. The ski resort is not the largest, but it is endless offpiste alternatives next to the slopes and there is almost never any queue on the lifts. It is also relatively cheap for day passes compared to other ski resorts. You can also go cross country skiing in long tracks both above and below the treeline. The area is also perfect for kite skiing. You can start in the upper part of the cabin area, take the lift or down on Otrøvatn just below the cabin. There are also good alternatives for long distance kiting, so just contact the host for further info. The area is also at the edge of Jotunheimen and there are endless options for alpine toring. Close to the cabin you have many smaller peaks with about 700m, but if you drive a bit you can get into the heart of Joutunheimen and ski 2000m peaks. The host can suggest numerous routes. You have a fully equipped kitchen and space to seat 12 around the table with a fantastic view over the nearby lake and mountains. A separate TV room is included with 55" Smart TV, free WiFi and various family games. Sonos Play 5 for music. A separate storage room has lots of space for storing and drying your equipment. Washing machine, dryer, shoe dryers are also available. This is one half of a vertically split cabin with identical units on each side. The other half is owned and used by friends of ours.
