Charming Rendezvous Suite at the Guy Waring House!

This Rendezvous Suite(a legal, licensed nightly rental with a current Okanogan County health permit as required by law)is located a 1895 historic building built for the Town of Winthrop’s founder, Guy Waring. It has been recently remodeled to provide stylish comfort for overnight guests. Located on the boardwalk in down town Winthrop, you are within walking distance to restaurants, boutiques, gift shopping, wine bars, taprooms and more. The space The Rendezvous Suite has a private entrance to the second and third floors of the rear addition to the historic Guy Waring building. Sleeping accommodations include a private bedroom with a queen-size bed and a separate nook with a twin bed. A full private bath is provided. Entertainment areas include a living room with a big-screen smart TV, a full kitchen for all your gourmet needs, and an outside deck. **Directions and lockbox code are available in the 1) Guest Resources Check In Instructions and the 2) House Manual, which is available after your booking is confirmed. ** As a courtesy, we send out the directions as well. Still, if for some reason you don’t receive them, it is your responsibility to let us know the day BEFORE your reservation, either by Airbnb message, text, or phone call, and to access them in either of the 2 places listed above. Internet speeds vary throughout the valley WE DO NOT guarantee that our internet speed will meet the needs of your work or school. Should you have an issue with internet service, please send us a message through the Airbnb system describing the problem. We will then contact you to troubleshoot. If the issue is not resolved, we will then contact the internet provider, and they will take it from there. Please note... our valley is very rural, and getting service personnel to fix things promptly, as you may be used to, is a challenge. Your patience is required! We rent lodging, not office space. You may also access the Winthrop library’s enhanced internet speed(parking lot or inside the library) or pay a fee and go to the Dropzone in downtown Winthrop. Thank you for your understanding and enjoy your stay!** **Should you travel to the Methow during the winter months, it is important to understand that you must be prepared for winter driving (keep chains, shovel...in the car). If it snows while you’re here, you will have to wait for plow service just like every other person in the valley. There are a limited number of plow companies, and we can not make them show up any faster than they are able. They have many different contracts and many miles of roads, driveways...to plow. If a plow person or a snow shoveler shows up to clear any area around the house, please do not argue with them or turn them away. Move your vehicles if asked. Your cooperation and patience are required, especially after any significant snow accumulation.
