Canterbury Cottage

Welcome! Our 400 sq ft studio cottage includes a full kitchen and full bath. The well-appointed living area includes a queen bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and 55" TV. The outside living area includes a gas grill, dining table, comfy patio chairs, and large shade trees. The space is quiet and comfortable. Ocean Dr. is a 5 min walk. Central to shopping and restaurants; 3 min drive to TAMUCC; 15 min drive to beaches. Dogs welcome (2 maximum) with required pet fee. STR Permit #205144 The space Kitchen: Full size refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster oven / air fryer, Keurig coffee maker, ice maker, blender, microwave, and toaster. One-gallon bottled water provided for coffee maker and ice maker to reduce mineral build-up. TV: Samsung Smart TV, plus Amazon Fire Stick (can be registered to you for the stay if you have an account). Dogs: Max 2 dogs (no other types of pets). Food and water bowls provided. Please pick-up pet waste using the pooper-scooper provided and the Pet Genie disposal can located outside. There is a required pet fee of $25 per stay. Comfort: Split air conditioner with heat function. Two ceiling fans. Bug spray provided (south Texas coast has mosquitos) can be found in the bathroom. Safety: Smoke detector, CO2 and gas detector, fire extinguisher (under sink), kitchen fire blanket, and first-aid kit. Three outdoor security cameras. Personal Products: Shampoo, conditioner, soap, Q-tips, make-up remover towelettes, hair dryer. Guest access Parking: Guests may park in the driveway. Parking on the street is also permitted. As with any publicly accessible parking, we recommend not leaving valuables in your vehicle and always locking the doors. Access to the cottage is through the wooden gates. Please keep the gates closed when not at the cottage and at night. Please keep people and pets within the gated area of the backyard (on the crushed granite pad area in front of the cottage). Please do not go through the white picket gates. The cottage door has a keypad lock. A code will be available prior to your rental date. Other things to note Please Note: The cottage is one-story, ground-level, however there are 2 steps up to get into the shower. No smoking or vaping allowed anywhere on the property. This includes the outdoor spaces, please. Pest control is part of our monthly maintenance. However, spiders, mosquitos, and other pests are still very common to the area.
