A Little Slice of Heaven on Twin Lakes

Welcome to our beloved family cabin!!! This very special place is the perfect getaway for an extended family gathering, special girls trip or peaceful retreat! It is located in a quiet neighborhood with its own dock, beach, fire pit & kayaks. While it has the appearance of a log cabin, it is full of many modern amenities: gorgeous kitchen, dishwasher, gas grill, 2 smart TVs & more. There are 3 bedrooms each with Queen beds, an open bedroom with 2 twin beds & a loft/TV room with a Queen sofabed. The space Grand Entry: Enter the house into a grand log room with tall vaulted ceilings. This room houses "Bing's bar", a log pool table, and a large dining table that can seat 8-10. Open concept kitchen/gathering space: This beautiful cozy space houses a 4 person table, perfect for breakfast, coffee or a card game. There is also a cozy love seat in front of the fireplace, with a smart TV. (the gas fireplace is not in operation during the Summer). The modern, fully stocked kitchen has a large island with 3 bar stools. There is a drip coffee maker and a single cup Keurig as well. It has a microwave, dishwasher and wine fridge. Next to the sliding glass doors leading to the patio is a large basket full of beach towels. Master Bedroom: Main floor, oar themed room. It contains a dresser, two night stands and ample closet space. You can see the lake out of the bay windows from the Queen sized bed. Attached is the master bath with double vanity and steam shower. 2nd Bedroom: Main floor, Americana themed room. It contains a Queen sized bed, one nightstand and a small closet. Attached is a beautiful half bath that contains a stacked washer and dryer. 3rd Bedroom: Upstairs log bedroom has a gorgeous log, Queen bed, two nightstands, a small dresser and ample closet space. There are lovely lake views from the window! This room also has a small fold out chair that can be used for a bed for a small child. ?4th Bedroom: Upstairs, steps from the log room is a bedroom without a 4th wall/door, perfect for the kids. It contains 2 twin beds with a forest animal theme. Lovely views of the lake can also be found out the window in this room! Upstairs bath: Large bathroom with clawfoot tub and walk in shower. Upstairs Loft: This loft has a smart TV, Queen sized sofa bed and a designated work space. The TV cabinet is loaded with nostalgic games and puzzles. This is the best part!! The large covered porch is encircled by light up lanterns and has seating for 8-10 and has a gas grill. Just a few steps takes you to a patio area with a firepit, grassy area and if you're lucky to be there in May/early June, an amazing display of flowers. A few more steps takes you to the beach with chairs and your own private dock. Underneath the porch, you will find lots of things to play with: 4 kayaks, 1 canoe, life jackets, corn hole, and water toys galore! A private dock with a swim ladder awaits all of your personal water toys. Twin Lakes Public Boat Launch is one mile North of the property . Lower Twin Lake Public Boat Launch is 2 miles south of the property in Twin Lakes Golf community. **While this house appears to have EVERYTHING, it does not have air conditioning! While there are a few days every year when it would be nice to have, you really don't need it. We just open up all of the windows in the evening to cool the house down, then keep doors and windows closed during the day! If you're desperate, there is a box fan in the upstairs hallway closet. All closets have extra linens!!! The upstairs closet also has a vacuum and broom if you need them. Guest access Full access to the house and upper garages with the exception of 1 locked cleaning closet, 1 locked closet with our personal belongings and locked fridge/freezer in the garage. The small single garage along the side of the house is also not accessible to guests. Other things to note This house does have exterior security cameras, They are important for safety and to monitor lake levels and snow conditions. They are turned off/put into stand by mode as soon as you arrive.
