The host lives close to the blue cabin and is available for questions or car kisses. Welcome The space If you want to experience fjord mountains fishing and nature, here you will find all of this in the realm of the Midnight Sun. It accommodates a family or a friend's team. With 1 double bed and 2 sofa beds including bed linen, there are 6 sleeping places. Bathroom with shower and washing machine and toilet with sink. Parking for 1 car at the cabin. Bikes can be borrowed. Local shop is 1km away. Bus and ferry run several times for the day to the city of Hammerfest. Peaceful neighbors on the upper side of the cabin. Access to wood for burning a fire inside the cabin in the wood stove/fireplace, and wood bag can be purchased by the host for NOK 120. Guest access Naturen rundt / The nature around Other things to note We speak several languages, Finnish, English, Sami, Norwegian and a little Russian. In blue cabin there is fast internet/ wifi. Here it is close to fishing water in the mountains. See suggestions for hiking trails on the map that are inside the cabin, to open hiking cabins. Marked trails go to fishing lakes and to Seiland National Park. The island has 2 glaciers and those who want to go there must have extremely good training, and inquire with locals, in the shop and with reineers . When hunting, interrogate with reindeer where it should not be hunted, if reindeer collections take place in the autumn. Boat can be rented by neighbor tourism operator. Hosting can offer Sami experience activities for the whole family, in lavvo, about reindeer, joik, and storytelling around the fire. We also offer wellness for our guests, nature therapy treatments like massage and footone therapy. In case of emergency health care call 113 and to the island ambulance boat can come from Hammerfest, 20 minutes away. There is also a defibrillator at the shop. In the shop there is both health assistance, exhibition about Seiland National Park and food and fuel, fishing equipment both sales and supply. If you want to visit also the neighbor island Sørøya, fast boat from the city goes there Ferry from the city/Akkarfjord and here to Seiland takes 10 minutes, and then 20 km by bus/car here to Hønseby and Skakkebakken where the blue hut is.
