Thoughtfully designed for rest and connection with deep rich color & themed around the Lotus flower, Lilly pads, Ferns, Birds & nature. This intimate retreat offers peaceful garden views, cozy luxury, and the perfect setting to unwind. The space Tucked just steps from our main home, this private cottage offers a true sense of escape, where quiet surroundings and thoughtful design create a calm, intimate retreat. Recently reimagined with deep, rich colors and carefully curated details, the space feels layered, warm, and intentionally styled—every element chosen to create a sense of comfort and beauty. Rest comes easily here. The exceptionally comfortable queen bed is dressed in a luxurious fern-patterned duvet, framed by vintage heron prints imported from Poland and softly illuminated by floral vine bedside lamps. Overhead, a William Sonoma fern chandelier casts a gentle glow, creating a serene, almost garden-like atmosphere that guests often describe as one of the best nights’ sleep they’ve had away from home. The living area invites lingering. A blue jewel–toned reading chair paired with a charming flower-shaped ottoman offers a cozy spot to curl up with a book, while the large drum-style coffee table anchors the space for relaxed evenings. Beneath it all, a beautiful Anthropologie rug weaves together chocolate brown tones and soft pink garden florals, adding warmth and texture. Throughout the cottage, you’ll notice small, whimsical touches, including darling mushroom artwork in miniature frames, subtly tucked into the décor for moments of quiet delight. Designed for both romance and flexibility, the cottage features a clever convertible desk that transforms into a dining table for two, paired with matching upholstered chairs—perfect for candlelit meals accented with soft pink votives or focused work with strong Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equally thoughtful, with quartz countertops, shimmering blue glass subway tile, and stainless-steel appliances, ideal for easy breakfasts or cozy evenings in. A spa-like bathroom with a sliding glass tiled shower, elegant patterned flooring, and a private laundry room adds effortless comfort. Guest access Gravel Parking space right next to cottage. You can walk in to town thru our back fenced in area (just make sure the gate is securely closed) and we are happy to help you get your bearings. There's a parking garage in town that's super accessible. Parking meters work with the Passport parking app. Other things to note The front door locks automatically so keep the code with you. Roku TV - let us know if you need help. Please take a look in the closets & all the drawers so you are familiar with where all the essentials & extras are. Feel free to call us or text us as well. There's a switch next to the kitchen counter for the garbage disposal & an overhead light. There is both a drip coffee machine and a Nespresso with pods and frother. Laundry pods provided & dishwasher tablet starter set provided. We do have a cot for a 2nd or 3rd sleeper but we only bring it over if it is requested in advanced and the extra guest is approved.
