Welcome to The Meadow's Edge at Outpost 203 - Camp & Glamp, Plantersville, TX! This 16-foot glamp tent (with electric, A/C, heat, queen bed/futon/decor) will surely take the hassle out of camping. Sleeps up to 6. It even has a k-cup coffee machine! Come "rough it" with us at our primitive camp in farm & ranch country. 7 miles to the TX Renaissance Festival entrance. 40 minutes NW of the Greater Houston metro area. Where the TX Hill Country meets the Piney Woods Region. The space Christmas / New Year Available The Meadow's Edge tent is a one of our largest glamp tents, a 16-foot, 4-season canvas bell tent and separate fire ring area and picnic table that is all yours to enjoy in a quiet wooded section of the camp. Electric, A/C, heat, 1 queen mattress, futon, bedding, pillows, blow up queen mattress to use if needed with extra bedding, tables, chairs, lamps, box fan, etc. Meadow's Edge also includes a k-cup coffee pot, coffee, water, 4 Adirondack chairs, solar lights, small stand-up charcoal grill (bring charcoal, lighter fluid and lighter), and more! Good view of farm fields/meadows on the side of the camp, and includes large cleared area to park and play in. FYI - the bed is made and readied for you on the day that you are scheduled to arrive and before you step in. Please bring wood for the fire ring. Sleeps 6 people in the queen bed and futon, as well as blow up queen mattress, and we supply the bed and bedding at every booking. This tent is near The Shady Grove tent in case family or friends want to be closer to each other. Hot & cold showers and porta potties are available for guest use. In general, it's a relax and chill kind of space. Our camp is a TX shaded oasis for nature lovers. We are near the Texas Renaissance Festival, Bernhardt Winery & DeepRoots Vineyard (see their website for live free music schedule - family and pet friendly), and 20 min. to the infamous Lake Conroe. On separate listings, dispersed, primitive camping is available for both tent and RV camping (dry), as well as other glamping canvas bell tents, cabins, and electric pull-in tent/RV camping sites. Fiber wifi available throughout the Courtyard as well. (Not so "primitive", haaaa.) We love dogs. They are family! Absolutely bring them with you, just be sure to keep them leashed or on a tie out. Parking is available in front. 2 vehicles. There is overflow guest parking in another area. We are surrounded by farms and ranches. It's authentic country...
