Surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and biking are all favorites among the locals. The Carolina Beach boardwalk features some great restaurants, including the famous Britt's Donuts, an amusement park during the summer, and local shops. During the summer months, there are amazing activities for both kids and adults. Thursday nights host fireworks at the boardwalk; Friday evenings have free outdoor concerts at Fort Fisher State park; Saturdays include a delicious farmer's market from local shops and farms; and Sunday nights show free movies at the lake. Fort Fisher, a short drive away, hosts an award-winning Aquarium, the South Port ferry (a short ride across the cape fear river to a charming coastal town with many shops and restaurants), and the Fort Fisher American Civil War museum. The entire condo is yours with the exception of a locked Owner's closet on front porch and bunk room. We will supply you with the keypad codes the day of arrival. Please note, there is parking for one vehicle from Memorial Day - Labor Day and only one parking pass will be provided. There are two spots/passes the rest of the year. Guests will need to make parking arrangements for any additional vehicles. Towing is enforced by the HOA and is not the responsibility of Host. Our work often keeps us traveling. When we are not in CB, you’ll be well taken care of by our excellent property manager. We are always available to communicate and answer questions through Airbnb. This is our home and we hope you enjoy it. Please take care of it as you would your own, and enjoy all the fun that Carolina Beach has to offer! Carolina Beach is loaded with exciting things to do. Swim, surf, or sun at the beach, try out surfing or stand-up paddle boarding, explore bicycle trails, visit the aquarium, or cruise around local areas such as Ft Fisher, Kure Beach and Southport. This condo is located on the quieter end of Carolina Beach (the south end). It's just several blocks to Kure Beach and a 15-minute stroll on the beach to the Carolina Beach boardwalk. Wander the boardwalk, play some fun games, and have a donut at Britts. Stop for a cocktail while watching the sun set at the tiki bar which is a 5 minute walk along the beach! Also, historic downtown Wilmington is only a 20 minute drive away. Carolina Beach is super accessible and user-friendly in so many ways. Some choose to explore by car, but you can also rent bikes, or even golf carts to get around! *Elevated first floor unit, with only 10 steps to climb (5 to a landing, 5 to our door). Sturdy railing and wide steps make it more accessible. *This is a Non-Smoking property including inside the condo, on the outside deck or anywhere on the property. In addition, No Pets are allowed. A $500 hypoallergenic cleaning fee will be applied to any guest who is found to have violated either of the above, and will be asked to leave the property. Early eviction does not warrant any refund of rent or security deposit.
