The cottage is 40 sqm and is located on a mountain pasture/mountain farm 750 meters above sea level in the middle of Härjedalen at Sonfjället National Park. The hiking trail starts at the cottage junction. The cottage key is in the door upon your arrival, bed linen/towel can be rented, then help yourself with fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave and coffee maker in the kitchen. The mountain farm is called Nysäterns Fjällgård and has 3 rental cottages, a café & bakery (opens again week 26), horses, cows, goats, sheep and chickens are on the farm. The space Around the mountain farm, Sonfjällsbygden can offer good fishing waters. In the binoculars, you can see "the big 5": bear, lynx, wolverine, golden eagle, and possibly wolf. During July-September, it is berry season, when you can pick cloudberries, raspberries, blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms in the forest.
