The perfect setting for couples looking for a getaway, families visiting Omaha, people in town on business, or a fun-filled weekend. Whoever you are and whatever your need may be, I invite you to my Bird's Nest Hideaway! The space An entire 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apt in the basement of the house. Enjoy our queen bed, or our futon couch opens to a sleeping area as well. Please note, you WILL hear some noise from the upstairs. With two fully separate and secure Airbnb units, guests do not have access to the thermostat, but we do keep it at 73* upstairs. The temperature can get as low as 67* in the bird’s nest apartment depending upon the temperature outside. We can adjust it per guest’s request a few degrees and we have extra fans and heaters available upon in the apartment. We aim at providing the most comfortable environment possible! Guest access There is a private gravel drive to the east of the house with a separate entrance to the apt. Other things to note Since this is a basement space, it is not suitable for day sleepers / night work. There is one HVAC unit that centrally controls the temperature for upstairs and downstairs. In the summer the A/C gets the space ICY COLD, great in a warm summer day! We are NOT a resting place for LOCALS. We strictly host traveling guests from outside the Omaha area.
