THE FINCA - Your vacation in the Spanish Rhön The space You can expect four lovingly Mediterranean garden apartments, each with its own bathroom (walk-in shower, toilet, sink), large floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the garden and spacious terrace. The rooms are equipped with high-quality carpenter furniture, Spanish terracotta tiles, underfloor heating and a private fridge. The walls are designed with breathable anti-allergy lime plaster. The heart of the room is the large bed with a relax sleeping system. Two rooms have the possibility to separate the double bed into twin beds. One room has a large double bed (200 x 210 cm extra length), as well as an additional solid wood bunk bed with natural rubber mattresses (each 90 x 200 cm)....here a family with adult children can also feel comfortable. Another room has a large double bed with extra length. Two rooms can be connected with connecting doors if necessary. Adding a baby crib or another sleeping mattress is possible in three rooms. NEW YEAR'S EVE BOOKINGS 2025/26: Currently, only the family room is available for four to a maximum of 5 people. From 1.1.2024, the Hessisches Kegelspiel tourist office will charge €1.10 per person/day as an accommodation tax, which we are allowed to collect and forward. We affectionately call this tax the Rhön tax and will settle it upon departure. Guest access The entrance area on the first floor is accessible to the guests as a foyer and reception area. The library and fireplace bar with TV, as well as the south terrace with grill & outdoor kitchen may be used free of charge as a lounge if no drinks and food brought along are consumed. We serve drinks during meals and otherwise they are available for self-service at a friendly price. We are happy to make you individual offers for culinary catering (pasta from the Parmesan wheel, original Swiss raclette, paella, homemade burgers, surprise menu, cocktail tasting - or course, wine tasting etc.). If you want to cater for yourself, a small communal kitchen (without seating area) is available near the apartments. You can book the library, fireplace lounge and south terrace with outdoor kitchen and grill. For this, we charge a flat rate of €100 for the weekend as a usage fee. For all wellness fans: We have an indoor Swiss pine sauna with a small relaxation area and garden view, as well as a garden sauna with an apple tree shower. We also have a small outdoor wellness area with a wood-fired bathtub/hot tub (room for up to 8 people). We are happy to book massage times for you in our wellness area. Price for the use of the saunas and the hot tub on request. If you request a New Year's Eve request here via Airbnb, you confirm that you agree to the booking of the culinary services that are billed on site. For the half-board package (includes four times the good mood finca breakfast incl. a barista hot drink and three times a 3-course surprise menu in the evening) and the New Year's Eve dinner incl. fire pit and midnight snack, we charge a flat rate of €340 per person plus the the nightly rate booked here. We are happy to extend this with a baking course or wine tasting. During your stay Under the motto “Living with friends,” you have the opportunity to get in touch with us or simply do your thing and enjoy the tranquility. Our family lives in a part of the house where the apartments are located and is therefore always available as a contact person. We are happy to fill your room refrigerator with your favorite foods before arrival, prepare a breakfast basket for you in the morning or cook fine delicacies for or with you in the evening - e.g. an original Valencian paella from the grill. In the winter months, we will be happy to serve you mulled wine and a snack in our wintry finca garden and light the fire pit. Price for this event from €15 per person. But you also have the opportunity to enjoy the stay completely in peace and for yourself. Other things to note In total, we have four guest rooms available. All were newly built in 2020/21 and equipped with a lot of love and passion. We ask you to treat this with just as much appreciation. The rooms are all non-smoking rooms (smoking is allowed on the terrace, of course). We have a large natural garden that invites you to relax and ground yourself. In addition, our guests have a hot tub in the garden for up to 8 people (price for heating in winter €85 and in summer €55). We are happy to offer you a champagne or whiskey tasting here.
