The space Our charming apartment sits on top of a villa that comprises the original farmhouse from the early 20th century. The modern two-bedroom self-contained apartment comfortably sleeps up to 5 people (4 adults max). The newly refurbished eat-in kitchen opens up to a wonderfully large and romantic terrace with views over our centuries-old olive grove. We can provide cot bed(s) for babies and side protections for toddlers. The terrace has a high fence all around. You will have the pool and gardens to yourself. Take it in with all your senses, immerse yourself in Italian "far niente" or explore the stunning historic towns, wonderful beaches and nature trails that can easily be accessed form there. The wonderful feeling of swimming in a salt-water infinity pool whilst seeing the olive trees and the amazingly colourful flowers is uniquely refreshing. You might find some home grown fruits and vegetables on the property depending on the season. You are holidaying in a working olive farm and can taste the produce while sitting in the midst of the wonderful trees that yielded this extraordinary "gold". You will miss nothing and the furniture and furnishings are of high standard. The newly refurbished kitchen offers all you need to be comfortable and cook wonderful Italian recipes. If you feel adventurous, our lovely house manager Cristiana will help you with the pizza oven. You also have your own BBQ on the terrace and the wood is free. There is so much for the kids to do that they will not want to leave the property. Take a stroll through the pine garden and discover the fish fountain and the large playground. We have a number of bicycles and ride-ons on the property and our road abodes a cycling trail. During your stay the ground floor apartment will remain closed, the booking is exclusively for you and your guests. Guest access Guests will have access to a very large and beautiful terrace fitted with sun chairs, dining table and aperitif area as well as a beautiful, tailor-made, gazebo. You also have exclusive access to the whole of the outdoor areas of the property. Al fresco dining under the starry sky is wonderful, the candles set an exceptional atmosphere. A BBQ set with all tools is also available. Breakfast can also be taken under the wisteria, a beautifully fresh setting in the shade of the house. You have access to the entire 4 hectares of private land and internal roads and kilometres of local cycling paths that can take you all the way to Brindisi. Use of a wood-fired, stone built pizza oven is also allowed subject to agreement with the house manager. There is a tennis court with flood lights, changing room and showers. Rackets and balls are also available in the changing room (some for kids too). There are tennis balls available in the changing room. There is a football goal in the garden. We have a (11x6) salt-water infinity pool with toddler pool. The pool is secured by an infra-red barrier that the guests need to activate when they leave the pool area for the security of the children. The pool use is at your own risk, No diving, No Running, the pool is only 140cm deep (toddler pool 70cm) and the natural stones on the solarium can become slippery when wet. We have a well stocked playground with gymnastic bars, roundabout, swings, slide and a huge trampoline (4.20m did). There is also a playhouse with mud kitchen and lots of accessories including a cauldron fire (fake). The playground is in the pine garden on soft grounds, the trampoline is on approved ground, however the trampoline and playground use is at your own risk. Used bicycles can be borrowed free of charge at your own risk. A parking is free of charge. There are two apartments, we would like to remind you that we do not rent out both apartments at the same time unless for the same booking. Other things to note Our flat offers a very comfortable yet peaceful stay for those looking for a relaxing holiday immersed in nature and tradition. Our flat is also extremely well equipped with all quality and branded items as well as high quality bedding, sheets and towels. Our idea is that you should feel comfortable and miss nothing! The property is large and is perfect for a stroll through the countryside which might lead you to the many fruit trees or to the vegetable patch for picking or even to the cork trees at the back of the property. Our flat is also perfectly positioned to enjoy all that Puglia has to offer! Many beaches are a 15 minutes drive away, some of the most beautiful towns are between 20 - 60 minutes away. Not to forget, just outside our property, driving along the cycling trail, you can already see some authentic trullies without having to set-off to the famous towns straight-away.
