Country house/cottage The house is an old, recently remodeled country house where we sought to recover all existing furniture and objects, integrating them into a renovated and comfortable space. Therefore, we kept the rustic style, with the traditional fireplace but created a completely new toilet, with outdoor patio lighting, a comfortable bedroom with a double bed, kitchen and living room. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, gas hob and electric oven, refrigerator. The space The house, formerly the oven house, where bread was baked, which was an important part of the diet of all who lived or worked on this farm, faces an interior courtyard of Portuguese pavement with a small garden. It is a cozy space, endowed with modern comforts, maintaining a decor that does not let you forget its past. This house is part of a larger space, where the nooks and crannies, the vast lawn, the swimming pool, the flowers, the aromas and the singing of birds allow for moments of relaxation where Nature prevails. Guest access The entire house is for the exclusive use of the guests. The corners of the courtyard allow each of the houses to enjoy their privacy. The lawn or the pool are shared with the guests of Casa D'Avó Amélia, the other unit that is part of our estate. Other things to note Alquerubim is a village made up of several places (residential areas). Beduído is where our Quinta is located. Located about 5 km from the intersection of the A25 and A1 highways, it has easy access to the center of Aveiro (about 15 m) and a little more to the beaches of Costa Nova and Barra, all connected by the A25 highway. Porto, Coimbra and Viseu, important, historic and beautiful Portuguese cities, are about 60 km away, also by highway. The Vouga River passes a short distance from Alquerubim, and it is interesting to follow its bed to Sever do Vouga. Just 2 km from the center is the Cabreia waterfall and its surrounding park, where taking a bath in its waters is always a pleasant experience. About 50km away are the Paiva Walkways and their suspension bridge. Registration Details 53376/AL
