Description

Casa Muiska is a jungle paradise in Costa Rica, ideal for couples seeking to disconnect and reconnect with nature. Surrounded by fruit trees, lush plants, and vibrant landscapes, it offers total tranquility. A fresh-water river flows through the property, perfect for relaxing. Authentic local towns are just minutes away, and La Fortuna or Ciudad Quesada are within 30 minutes. We also offer a 2-hour horseback tour ($50 USD per person, max. 4 people). The space This modern loft, built in 2018 with local laurel wood and renovated in 2022, blends comfort with natural warmth. The second floor features a bedroom with a queen bed, desk, and balcony access. On the ground floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, plus a cozy dining and living area. The water is crystal clear, sourced from a private underground well exclusive to the El Futuro community. Guest access During your stay at the loft, you’ll have full access to the property and activities like walking to the small viewpoint overlooking the La Esperanza River, where you can dip your feet in its crystal-clear waters and enjoy the vibrant sounds from the neighboring reserve. Depending on the season, you may also pick fresh fruits and vegetables from the land for a truly authentic connection with nature. Other things to note Due to its proximity to the rustic neighborhood road, mornings may bring the sounds of vehicles, motorcycles, and horses, creating an authentic connection with Tico culture. Still, you can work, read, rest, or explore this paradise surrounded by fruits, plants, and a living landscape. Important: the property has stairs, which may be challenging for people with disabilities or elderly guests. Bring binoculars and a camera for wildlife. The tropical climate means rain in winter and sun in summer—perfect to enjoy the nearby river, so we recommend a swimsuit and a hat.
