Casa de Lamelas, one of the most beautiful views of the Douro

Quinta de Lamelas is located at the top of the hill, among vineyards, olive groves and almond trees. The house has one of the most spectacular views over the Douro Valley and is in a remote and quiet location. The house, dating from the seventeenth century has been restored to the highest level in 1992, retaining many of the original features. The house consists of two double bedrooms and two twin, all with private bathroom, double living room with carved and hand painted ceilings, fully equipped kitchen and swimming pool (4m x 12m) with a breathtaking view of the valley. The garden of the house has an outdoor dining area with barbecue and a fountain made from an old oil press. The property is a 20-minute drive from the main facilities of Quinta de La Rosa. Being accessible only by the village of Gouvães.
