Outside is a large patio area, BBQ and grounds of over an acre with swimming pool, trampoline and hammocks to relax in in the orchard. Superb dark skies ,making it ideal for star gazing. Activities within less than an hour are Lac Vassiviere, Etang de Courtille, both places have boats, kayaks to hire and able to swim from sandy beaches, with inflatables. Families shouldn't miss out on a day at beach at Chatelus Le Marche, for tranquility and a natural environment - with maybe a little bridge jump too!! Other attractions include Loups de Chabrieres (woof sanctury), Labrinthe Geant des Monts de Gueret, Velo Rail de la Mine at Bosmoreau-les- Mines along with a museum. Shopping and sightseeing at Benevent l'Abbaye, Gueret add in a trip to the Museum of Arts and Archaeology, the mediaeval cities of Bourganeuf and La Souterraine which is a way point on the Santiago de Compostela pilgrim route. Please also don't miss a swim and picnic at Le Celle Dunois at the departments famous river La Creuse followed by a meal at the Auberge des Pecheurs in their garden.
