Beautiful Swedish House in Uppsala by a Lake

Large modern and idyllic home located Uppsala's countryside. The house is nestled next to a beautiful lake & national park, with stunning views & much wildlife to be seen from the house and its private balconies. Easy transport (regular busses) & private parking makes it easy to access Uppsala centre - 25 minute drive away. The wooden house is traditional yet very modern with lots of luxuries such as a hot tub, fireplace, underfloor heating, spacious kitchen, private gym and designer furniture. The space Our large but cosy home is located in Dalby in Uppsala (Swedens 4th largest city) nestled next to a beautiful lake which connects to Stockholm (and the sea eventually). The large national park "Hammarskog" is 20 minutes walk from our doorstep and its stunning views & wildlife can be seen from the house and balcony. The house itself is a wooden Swedish style build with modern stylish features. We have an indoor fireplace, sleek kitchen facilities with kitchen island, piano, voice activated sound system, large garden/ private parking, outdoor balcony with sunken outdoor hottub, underfloor heating (downstairs) and stunning views of the lake, surrounding fields and forest throughout all of the property. Its a spacious place, the inside measuring 180 sq meters (or 1938 sq feet). We have a private gym which you can access exclusively during your stay. Our gym features a large UHD smart TV with a LES MILLS® On Demand subscription giving you access to 800+ workouts and dance classes including BodyPump, Grit, Bodyattack, CXWorks, Sh'bam etc. You will find in the gym a range of equipment including official Bodypump barbell and weights, dumbells, parrallels, weights bench, half rack, weight lifting barbell set, concept2 Rowing machine and other items. The house has 4 bedrooms: - The master bedroom (Bedroom 1 in photos) with luxurious continental double bed and views over the fields and of the lake. - Guest bedroom 1 (Bedroom 2 in photos) with double bed and views of the forest at the back of the house. - Guest bedroom 2 (Bedroom 3 in photos) which is our childs room where cot(s) can be provided, otherwise a sturdy double sofa bed can be pulled out for adult use. - The office (Bedroom 4 in photos), which is a bit smaller than the other rooms, but can fit a double air mattress which we can provide if needed (it's quite a good quality one with electric pump). There is a large wooden outdoor balcony leading out of the lounge with fantastic views, with outdoor seating areas (parasol provided), two sun lounges and a barbecue. The garden has natural rock features, and we have a swing/paddling pool for those bringing kids. Our private electric 5-6 person jacuzzi is available to use for guests (we charge 500 SEK surcharge for this ahead per booking to cover the extra materials/cleaning) In our open plan kitchen / lounge area we have a Itallian designer dining table that can fit at least 10 people comfortably, and we have baby/childrens seats for those who need it. The bathrooms both have showers, and the upstairs one has a bath. For those with children we can provide a changing table in our utility room (equipped also with brand new washer/dryer). We have 1 EV charger socket which can be booked ahead for a supplementary cost (400 SEK per week with a 1 week minimum charge). We hope you enjoy your stay! Guest access Guests can access the whole house and our private gym. We will lock the garage (but private parking is available outside for 2 cars and if more are needed guests can contact us ahead to discuss). The walk in closets in both Bedroom 1, and Bedroom 3 will be locked.
