Your two story guest suite is attached to the (main house) with a private FRONT DOOR entry. Sorry there are no cooking elements available. Please take note that the antique stairs to the second floor are steep. You will find your very own first floor library/eating area with WiFi, mini fridge, coffee maker and 1/2 bath. Upstairs is a comfy bedroom suite with a private modern bathroom that includes a shower and Jacuzzi tub. None of these area are shared. It’s all yours! Your very own two story guest suite (attached but separate from the main house with shared walls) includes a large downstairs private entry that separates your downstairs living quarters from the main house. From the entryway you will find a private library with an eating area, TV, mini fridge and a half bath. Sorry no cooking elements are available. The antique stairs to the second floor are steep…Upstairs is an en-suite (bedroom/bathroom) with shower and jacuzzi tub. We are located near to (30 minutes) historic Woodstock Village that boasts unique shopping and a variety of eating venues ranging from fine to casual dining. There are several quality local restaurants very nearby as well. South on 106 you will find the Weathersfield Inn for farm to table cuisine and live music and North on 106 is the Kendron Valley Inn for both pub or more formal dining. For less expensive dining options; the Maple Kitchen on Ascutney Mountain and the Station Restaurant in Windsor are some of our guest’s favorites! Other points of interest are the nearby Harpoon Brewery (for burgers and beer). Local cultural and historical sites are King Arthur Flour, Historic Plymouth Vermont, St. Gaudens National Historic Site, Billings Farm and Museum and so much more! Experience the seasons of Vermont from this cozy charming 1840s Farmhouse. Enjoy the splendor of Autumn on our wooded walking trails. We are located on the VAST (snowmobile trail) for easy access to miles of wintertime fun! Ski the local mountains and if you are a mountain biker, we are just steps away to mountain bike paths that connect with a network of bike trails on Mt. Ascutney. We are a small horse farm. If you love horses, ask me or Connie about visiting the horses in our beautiful timber frame barn. I am a professional landscape oil painter and would love to give you an on-site studio tour. We hope you like dogs! We have an exuberant young hound/terrier mix and French Bulldog that will happily announce arrivals. However most of the time you will experience quiet tranquility in our charming and cozy upstairs bedroom suite, that includes a jacuzzi tub. Downstairs is the library with a coffee maker and refrigerator. Breakfast is available at our local general stores and restaurants. Check out the Brownsville Butcher and Pantry right nearby in Brownsville center for breakfast, lunch and dinner! For your convenience you will find milk, coffee and tea in the library each morning along with breakfast bars. Sorry no kitchen. We are almost always available to make sure your visit is a comfortable, fun and restful experience! Call or text if you need anything Lynn & Connie Please do not enter into gated dog yard in back of the house. The closed gate keeps our dogs safe and contained Enter through front (roadside) door with key code. It is important for guests to understand that Vermont is very hilly, so tires with good traction are needed to get around on our snowy hills during the winter season. We will most likely be available in person when you arrive. If you don’t see us, feel free to call or text with questions. Please park your car in front of shed, to the right of the garage door. Enter with keypad thru front, roadside door. Our home is on a quiet rural gravel road with fields and woods on both sides. We do have neighbors but their homes are a ways from our property. We are 15 minutes to Green Mountain Horse Associaton and 30 minutes to Woodstock, VT. Easy Access to Skiing, hiking, biking, water sports on the Connecticut River and several historic sites and museums. An on-site painting studio is open for guests to visit by appointment. Please park in “guest parking”. Park in front of shed to the right of our garage door. Please take note that we limit our jacuzzi tub to one bath per visit.
