A place to rest and relax, near the sea. The house’s architectural design is inspired by the typical Pico house and was built almost solely with materials native to the Island, such as basalt stone and criptoméria wood. A holiday home, to rest, and relax, by the sea. The architecture of the house intends to approach the typical Pico house and in its construction were used, almost exclusively, endogenous materials, such as the basalt stone and cryptomeria wood. There are also presente endemic species, such as the Beech (Fagus familiy) the pau branco tree (picconia azorica). New species have also been planted such as araçaleiros(a type of guava tree) (psidium araca), ombú (phytolacca dioica), orange and fig trees, among others. Guest access Access to the house is through the studio of the old island houses, through a wooden gate, to an interior courtyard and then stairs to climb to the front porch. Other things to note Don't miss the extraordinary view of the starry sky and the Milky Way that you can have on the front porch on cloudless nights! Turn off all the lights in the house and enjoy.
