Description

On the side of a hill planted with vines, this house offers a haven of serenity. It is a small old building renovated and modernized while protecting its historical appearance. On the ground floor: Living room (27 m2): fireplace, wood stove, table, chairs, bench, armchairs. Kitchen (12 m2): fridge, freezer, cupboards, induction cooktop, dishwasher, sink). Bathroom (2.7 m2) shower, sink, toilet. Upstairs (by external staircase), 16 m2 bedroom with double bed, bench, table and chairs, wood-burning stove. The space THE WINEMAKER'S CADOLE In Tournus (71700), in the south of Burgundy, this winegrower's house called "La Cadole" welcomes you in the heart of nature, on the edge of a rural road. Its stone walls and mullioned windows guarantee freshness in the middle of summer. The openings that overlook the vineyards at sunrise and a vast valley at sunset, offer an exceptional panorama. If the weather is poor, you can warm up in front of the large stone fireplace or light the stove (wood provided). In front of the house you will have a gravel courtyard with garden seats, deckchair, parasol and barbecue. These items are stored in a closed shed where you can store your bikes. TOURISM The area is full of resources: • Masterpieces of medieval architecture (Tournus, Brancion and some twenty rural Romanesque churches nearby) • The Saône and its tributaries for hiking, sailing or fishing if you're feeling up to it. • Tournus is in the center of the Burgundy wine region, halfway between Mâconnais and Côte de Beaune: you can visit the cellars of individuals and cooperatives and taste some wonders. You will also find excellent restaurants in Tournus (three star chefs!). The Tournus tourist office is at your disposal. CONSTRAINTS: - A rural road passes under the windows; it serves two houses (300 m away) and the surrounding vineyards. Little traffic, but possibly noisy and early in the morning! - The space is not enclosed. Hosting pets is not possible. - Because of the road, it is not possible to accommodate young children. - The bedroom is upstairs, accessible via an external staircase. - The kitchen ceiling is low (2.10 m) and the exterior door is low. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Rental only by the full week. - Average weekly rate: €446.25 - Amenities and services: Housekeeping, bed sheets, towels. No Wi-Fi or TV; Internet via 4G. - Distance to shops (Tournus): 3 km (supermarket, laundry, restaurants, etc.) - Anti-COVID disinfection will be provided according to the recommendations. Chemin des Rogniers is at the exit of the hamlet, on the left. La Cadole is 300 m away. Other things to note Dogs cannot be accommodated: no enclosed space, risk of wandering, especially towards the cattle and chickens of the neighboring farm.
