Kari Hillcabins
Description
Located in Creel, in the heart of the breathtaking Sierra Tarahumara, our cabin is the perfect retreat for those seeking nature, peace, and comfort. This beautiful wooden cabin blends modern design with charming vintage touches, creating a warm and character-filled atmosphere. Nestled at the foot of a hill, it offers an authentic mountain experience. Perfect for families or groups of up to 7 guests looking to disconnect and recharge. The space • 3 comfortable and cozy bedrooms -Bedroom 1: king size bed -Bedroom 2: full size bed -Bedroom 3: bunk bed with a full size bed and twin bed • Accommodates up to 7 guests • 100% wooden construction • Modern design with charming vintage details • Private and peaceful surroundings • Located at the foot of a hill • Multiple levels and stairs both inside and outside the cabin • Rustic mountain surroundings, with roads that may be unpaved Guest access Access to Karí Cabin is unique and rustic. To reach the property, guests must enter through a working lumber mill (wood factory/sawmill). This is the designated access route to the cabin and is part of the surrounding environment. The lumber mill closes at night and the area is monitored for security. If you plan to arrive after the mill has closed, detailed instructions will be provided in advance so you can coordinate your arrival. The cabin has two entrances: • Main entrance at the front • Additional side entrance For first-time visitors, we strongly recommend arriving during daylight hours, especially if you are unfamiliar with Creel and the surrounding mountain roads. This makes finding the property and navigating the access route much easier. The route may feel different from a traditional vacation rental, so we strongly recommend that guests read this section carefully before booking. There are also stairs required to access and move around the cabin. Because of the terrain and the different levels of the property, guests will need to walk up and down stairs. For this reason, Karí Cabin is NOT recommended for: • Guests with disabilities or mobility limitations • Elderly guests who have difficulty walking or climbing stairs • Guests with health conditions that make climbing stairs difficult or unsafe • Anyone who may have difficulty navigating uneven or rustic terrain Unfortunately, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible. We want to be completely transparent about these conditions so every guest can determine whether Karí is the right accommodation for their needs. Other things to note Internet & connectivity Because Karí is located in Creel, in the mountainous Sierra Tarahumara, internet service can sometimes be slower or less consistent than what you may be accustomed to in a city. The cabin does have internet, but speed and connectivity may vary depending on weather, network conditions, and other factors. Kitchen & stove The cabin has a vintage/older-style stove that works properly but may take a little longer than a modern stove to ignite. Please allow a moment for the burner to light and follow the instructions provided at the cabin. This is simply one of the charming characteristics of the cabin and its rustic mountain setting. Pets are welcome 🐾 We love welcoming pets to Karí! pets are welcome for an additional fee. Because the cabin is surrounded by nature, we kindly ask pet owners to be responsible for their pets at all times and to pick up and properly dispose of all pet waste during their stay. Please let us know in advance if you are traveling with a pet so we can provide the necessary information regarding the additional fee and house rules. NOTE: we do not allow pets on the beds ☺️ Other things to note Karí is still growing! We are currently continuing the expansion of the property and construction of our sister cabin. Because of this, guests may occasionally see construction materials or areas undergoing work around the property. This is temporary, and we are working to make Karí an even more beautiful and comfortable place for our guests. ☺️ Because of the rustic location, mountain terrain, stairs, and unique access through the lumber mill, Karí is best suited for guests who are comfortable with a more authentic mountain experience rather than a traditional city-style accommodation. If you love nature, wooden cabins, mountain surroundings, and getting away from the hustle and bustle, we would love to welcome you to Karí. 🤎
