Welcome to Høgelibu - a modern family cabin with panoramic views, only 15 min outside the center of cozy Vossevangen. Year-round parking outside, high standard, WiFi, great outdoor area, etc. In winter you are in the middle of miles of prepared cross-country trails and only 15-20 min drive from Voss Resort/Bavallen and 40 min drive to Myrkdalen. Voss is an excellent base for visiting Trolltunga, Flåm and Hardangerfjorden. Welcome! The space Welcome to the main cabin at Høgelibu. The cabin is our own family cabin - and we love to be here with the extended family as often as we have the opportunity. We relax and feel the peace descend as we park in the yard - and hope that you will have the same experience when you arrive! The cabin is large and modern, and it is perfect for a weekend or week in beautiful Voss with friends, family or for home office (broadband/WiFi). The hiking opportunities are great all year round. You will then receive answers to most of the practical questions you may have before arrival, for example: - What kitchen utensils are available? - Our own local guide to attractions, mountain tours and sights - What do you have to bring to the cabin? - Password for Wi-Fi - Guidelines for cleaning - Sun calendar - when does the sun come and go? www suncurves com/nb/v/41138/ - Etc. ### ABOUT THE CABIN/PRACTICAL INFO The cabin is over 100 square meters plus loft: Basement: - Spacious corridor with plenty of space for outerwear, etc. Shoe wiper and shoe wiper shelf. - Laundry room with washing machine and dryer (specify in booking request if you wish to rent this room) Sleeping arrangements (made beds): - Bedroom 1: Double bed (180 cm) - Bedroom 2: Family bunk bed (120 cm + 80 cm) - Bedroom 3: Bunk bed (90 cm) - Loft: Alcove with two mattresses (80 cm), as well as a single mattress (80 cm) in addition. - TV on the loft with NRK Internet TV, Xbox 360 with various games. Living room/kitchen: - Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and hob. - Corner sofa with seating for six + 2 armchairs and a large pouf Bathrooms: - Toilet, sink and shower with rain shower. Other facilities - Large terrace of wood and tiles with fire pan, large picnic table with 8+ seats. - Wi-Fi. - Parking right outside the door, where 2 spaces are associated with the main cabin. - Charging point for electric car. Own charging cable type 2 must be brought. 12 A charging speed (specify in booking request if you want to use the electric car charger) - Dogs/pets are unfortunately not allowed due to allergies. - Access with code/mobile app At the back of the cabin is a mini cabin/annex with one bedroom (2 beds), loft (3 beds), kitchen, bathroom and dining area, which is rented out separately (see separate ad on AirBnB). Please note that the annex may be rented to others during your stay. The main cabin and annex have separate entrances and are located opposite each other with their own outdoor areas. It is also possible to rent both the main cabin and annex together - perfect for larger family gatherings - contact us for a special price! ### THE AREA Voss Ski and Tourist Center is within walking distance, offering: - Miles of prepared ski slopes. - Cross-country skiing. Artificial snow if needed. - Roller ski slopes in summer. Spring/summer/autumn Voss offers a wide range of activities: - Water park/Vossabadet - A number of hikes in the mountains - Hunting/fishing opportunities - Rafting - Golf course - Skydiving - Cinema - Vertical Wind Tunnel For skiers, the driving times are: - approx. 20 min to Voss Resort/Bavallen - approx. 40 min drive to Myrkdalen. Other attractions: - Flåm (60 min) - Vøringsfossen - Trolltunga All year round it is always super cozy with visits to Voss city center with the possibility of shopping, café trips and restaurant visits. You can also go for walks in the area by the cabin or sit on the terrace in the sun with a glass of drink and a good book. Guest access There is parking space for two cars just outside the cabin. It is possible to take a taxi from the city center (approx. 12 km), but it is probably best to have your own car to get around the area. Other things to note The cleaning fee covers the dishes. However, guests are expected to clean up after themselves and bring the garbage down to the waste disposal point below the cabin.
