Voss is an excellent base for visits to Trolltunga, Flåm and Hardangerfjord. Welcome! The space Welcome to the main hut on Høgelibu. The cabin is our own family cabin-and we love to be here with the extended family as often as we can. We relax and feel the peace sink into it as we park at the Tuna - and hope that you will have the same experience when you arrive! The cabin is large and modern and it is perfectly suited for a weekend or week at beautiful Voss with friends, family or for home office (broadband/WiFi). You will then get answers to most of the practical questions you may have prior to your arrival, eg.: - What is provided by kitchenware? - Our own local guide of attractions, mountain tours and sights What do you have to take to the cabin? - Wifi password - Washer out policy - Sun calendar - when does the sun come and go? www suncurves com/nb/v/41138/ - Etc. ### about THE CABIN/PRACTICAL INFO The cabin is over 100 square feet plus loft: Basement: - Spacious hallway with plenty of space for outerwear, etc. Shoe dryer and shoe dryer shelf. - Laundry room with washer and dryer (please specify in booking request if you wish to rent this room) Sleeps 4 (made up beds): - Sleeps 1: Double bed (180cm) - Sleep 2: Family Bunk Bed (120cm + 80cm) - Sleep 3: Bunk bed (90cm) - Hems: Alcoves with 2 mattresses (80 cm), as well as single mattress (80 cm) in addition. - TV in the loft with NRK online TV, Xbox 360 with various games. Living room/kitchen: - Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and hob. - Corner sofa with seating for six + 2 armchairs and a large pouf Bathroom: - Toilet, Servant and Shower with Rain Shower. Other amenities - Large wooden patio with tiles and firepan, large picnic table seating 8+. - Wireless internet. - Parking just outside the door, where 2 spaces are attached to the main cabin. - Charging point for electric car. Own charging cable type 2 must be brought. 12 A charging speed (specify in booking request if you want to use electric car charger) - Dogs/pets are unfortunately not allowed due to allergies. - Access by code/mobile app At the back of the cabin is a one bedroom mini cottage/annex (sleeps 2), loft (sleeps 3), kitchen, bathroom and dining area, which is rented out separately (see separate listing on AirBnB). Please note that the annex may be rented to others during your stay. The main cottage and annex have separate entrances and are situated in plain sight opposite each other with their own outdoor areas. It is also possible to rent both the main cabin and annex together - perfect for larger family gatherings - please contact for special price! ### It's walking distance to the Voss Ski and Hiking Center, which offers: - Miles and miles of groomed ski slopes. Possible artificial snow if necessary. - Roller ski trails in summer. Spring/Summer/Autumn Voss offers a wide range of activities: - Badeland/Vossabadet - A pronounced hiking in the mountains - Hunting/fishing opportunities - Rafting - Golf course - Parachuting - Cinema - Vertical Wind Tunnel For alpinists, the driving times are: - about 20 min to Voss Resort/Bavallen - about 40 min drive to Myrkdalen. Other sights: - Flåm (60 min) - Vøringfossen - Trolltunga All year round it is always super cosy with visits to Voss city center with the possibility of shopping, cafe tours and restaurant visits. You can also take walks in the area by the cabin or sit on the sunny terrace with a glass of drinks and a good book. Guest access There is parking for two cars right outside the cabin. It is possible to take a taxi up from the city center (Approx. 12 km), but it is probably best to have your own car to get around the area. Other things to note Basically, you wash out the cabin yourself. Detailed instructions are sent to you before the rental starts. It is also possible to order laundry (NOK 2000).
