Arisaig is a stopping place for the Jacobite Steam Train, aka Harry Potter's Hogwarts Express which puffs it’s way through four times per day. The station provides the Scotrail link to Mallaig & Fort William, and the direct link to Glasgow & London Euston. Where you’ll be Arisaig is a small Highland village perched on the “Road to the Isles”. It has a population of around 300 people. The fishing port of Mallaig is eight miles away, or two stops on the famous West-Coast railway, for shopping, dining, and the ferry to the isles of Eigg, Muck, Rhum, Canna and Skye, along with boat trips to Inverie and wildlife excursions to see the seals and dolphin. Along that eight-mile stretch are the fabulous “silver sands” of Morar and dunes of Camusdarach Beach made famous by the 1980s movie 'Local Hero'. On the west coast you can experience the tranquillity of our most spectacular coastline as well as true Highland hospitality. Other things to note We are happy to accept one small, well behaved dog by prior arrangement if they sleep in the Apartment kitchen. If you prefer to have your dog sleep with you on the bed, or on a sofa, then please do not book this accommodation. There is absolutely no smoking in the Apartment. Wi-fi is available from our home-hub. Due to our location, water pressure is OK, but not powerful. Registration Details FS-Case-528701578
