Peacefull cabin in the forest of Oslo

When in Norway do as the Norwegians - go to the cabin. Only 45 minutes drive from central Oslo or 35 minutes from Oslo airport you find this gem in the beautiful Nordmarka forrest. A true cycling and hiking paradise in the summer and cross country skiing paradise in the winter. The space This newly refurbished cottage is located in Nordmarka north of Oslo. It is a great starting point for skiing in winter and cycling or hiking in summer. The surrounding forest has some of the country's best experiences when it comes to cross country skiing. The ski tracks close to the cabin go all the way to the capital. Otherwise there are many nice hiking destinations shorter away. In the summer there are a lot of good fishing lakes a short bike ride or trek from the cabin. Outside the cottage there is a slope where kids and adults can enjoy themselves if they do not want to go skiing. The slope is also nice to build jumps for snowboarding and other action fun in the snow. Indoors there is everything you might need for some nice days of relaxing cabin life. There is hot water, electricity, shower, a sauna and a nice and clean combustion toilet. So light up the fireplace and enjoy yourselves with good food and drink after long days in the nature. The cottage is is 30 minutes' drive from Oslo Airport. 45 minutes drive from Oslo. You can also take the train to Roa. Then it's a short taxi ride the city. Guest access We prefer that the guests bring their own sheets (or sleeping bags ) and towels. If needed we can arrange something for an extra fee. Please ask us. The kitchen is well equiped. Sleds are available to borrow. The rent is including firewood which is in the cellar. Toilet paper, soap and washing equipment are there as well. There is a TV with Norwegian chanels. There are also some toys , a bluray player, a wii game console and other stuff that you might need. We will try to help you out with bikes or cross country equipment (skis, sticks and shoes) if you don't bring your own. We may need to have an extra fee for that since we don't have all the right sizes ourselves. Other things to note Three of the bedrooms have double beds (no twins). One room has a bunk bed (twin).
