This is the right place for nature lovers who want to stay privately with the forest and lake around the house. The lake is a nice fishing lake and a boat is available to rent if you are interested. Wake up to the sound of birds singing and if you are lucky you can spot elks and deer wandering by. You can reach Uddevalla in 10 minutes by car and Smögen, Fjällbacka and Grundsund in about 1 hour. Our family usually goes on excursions in the woods, picking berries and mushrooms, swimming at the small sandy beach or taking the boat on a fishing trip. If we want to see something else, we take a trip to Grundsund or another coastal town along the Bohus coast, visit the animals at Nordens Ark or explore Dalsland. If you have an interest in art, we recommend a trip to the artist collective Not Quite in Fängersfors. This is a perfect place to stay for day trips. Newly-built bedroom of about 25 sqm with comfortable king size double bed. The bedroom has double glass doors overlooking the lake. A newly-built walk-in closet with plenty of storage. The second bedroom has a day bed that becomes a 160 cm wide double bed. This is a small room and if you make the entire sofa bed, it fills the entire room. Only a curtain as a door! The cottage is well-equipped and newly-renovated with a large terrace. Here you live comfortably in the middle of the woods. Guest access In addition to the accommodation, you can borrow two women's bicycles, the barbecue and outdoor games such as kubb, croquet, etc. Sheets and towels are available to borrow if you want. Bring your own mountain bikes and cycle around the lake, which is 10 km long. SUP is something that many guests have brought with them and used on the lake.
