This charming home full of nostalgic details is hidden between the green hills of Masuria. From the veranda you have a direct view on the lake. A fairytale place where you only hear sounds from nature: frogs, crickets, the cuckoo. The former farm has been renovated with loads of love ánd wood into a beautiful home for lovers of tranquility and nature. The entire (fenced) plot is available for guests, dogs are welcome. (The farm is split into two houses, possible to book together as one home.) The space Welcome to Lakeview Paradise! Upon arrival, you enter the home through a charming veranda that offers a picturesque view of the lake. The veranda is thoughtfully furnished with a dining table, chairs, a cozy sofa, and a delightful hanging chair. In the evening, you can turn on the atmospheric lighting, conveniently located outside. As you step inside the home, you'll find yourself in the kitchen, complete with a charming round dining table. The kitchen features modern amenities such as a brand new refrigerator with a freezer, an oven, an electric hob, and an extractor hood. The crockery is neatly stored in a two-door cupboard. Additionally, a high chair is provided for the little ones. In the hallway, you can hang your coat and conveniently access the toilet. The hallway also leads to a separate area housing a washing machine. Please let us know if you would like to utilize it, then a key will be provided. The living room beckons you to unwind and relax on one of the two classic Chesterfield sofas. Alternatively, you can snuggle up next to the fireplace. Furthermore, you'll find a collection of tourist information about the area, available in multiple languages (Polish, German, English), in the bookcase. We offer toys, LEGO blocks, board games, a TV and even a comprehensive Dutch 20th-century encyclopedia series, guaranteeing entertainment for all ages. Ascending the stairs will lead you to the first floor, where you'll discover two meticulously designed bedrooms and a tasteful bathroom. Both bedrooms boast a shared balcony, showcasing the beautiful surroundings. One of the bedrooms features a double bed, a single bed, and a crib, providing ample sleeping options. The other bedroom offers a comfortable double bed and two single beds. The bedrooms are spacious, allowing you to store your belongings in the exquisite antique furniture. To add a touch of elegance, both bedrooms and the landing are equipped with dressing tables, offering a tranquil space for self-reflection ;) The bathroom, although simple, incorporates everything you need, including a refreshing shower, a toilet, and a sink. Bath towels are provided, we offer one towel per guest. A second staircase leads to a cozy sleeping loft in the attic, where you'll find two additional single beds and a comfortable double bed. Please note that due to the attic's height, tall individuals may need to be mindful of their posture. Lakeview Paradise offers natural cooling throughout the home, thanks to the shady veranda, relatively small windows, and the abundant surrounding trees, making it an ideal retreat even during the peak summer season. Additionally, you have the option to take a refreshing dip in one of the countless nearby lakes or simply immerse yourself in the tranquility of the lake just a stone's throw away from your doorstep. For those seeking outdoor enjoyment, we have provided a lovely fire pit by the lake where you can gather around. Furthermore, a barbecue is available on your veranda. During cooler periods, the house is equipped with electric heaters for warmth. Additionally, Lakeview Paradise boasts a cozy fireplace. This captivating home is nestled within a former grand farmhouse, with another separate house for eight people occasionally available for rental. The two independent homes are separated by a corridor inside and separated by a wall on the veranda. Thanks to its location and generous plot size, privacy is guaranteed. For large groups interested in renting homes close to each other, it is an option to rent both. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any specific requirements or preferences. The enclosed garden is perfect for playtime. You'll find swings and trees perfect for hanging hammocks. There are plenty of climbing opportunities, and our large trampoline is available for everyone (please remove your shoes). Of course, the lake provides an ideal setting for water activities such as swimming, paddling, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, kayaking or canoeing. We can borrow you our kajak, canoe, paddles and safety vests at your own risk. Please return and store everything afterwards.  Just to be sure: Check-in from 4:00 PM Only in consultation with the host another time can be agreed. Pets are very welcome, provided they are registered/paid in advance. Your furry friends stay downstairs, so NOT in the bedrooms/in the beds. Thank you! Guest access Our plot is easily accessible via an unpaved road from the main road (there is a wooden sign saying 'Kosewo G 22') The green gate with the small mailbox is the entrance to your 'wildwoods getaway', please close it well. A friendly request to park the car on the side of the house, so that it is not in sight. Your home-away-from-home is located on the right hand when arriving (overlooking the lake). Please note: this former farm has been split into two independent houses, both of which can be entered from their own veranda side. Your home, the Lakeview Paradise, is the left one: number 1. (if you stand with your back to the lake) The verandas are adjacent to each other and are separated by a wooden wall. (Both properties can accommodate up to 8 people - so also ideal for large groups and families to book together :) Also on the large site is a former pigsty converted into a home, our 'Charming Barnhome' and an old wood-workshop converted into a 'Forest Loft'. We regularly stay in both of these houses and we also receive guests there occasionally. (check all our listings) Good to know: All homes on the spacious plot are situated in such a way that everyone has a lot of privacy and space. They all have private entrances, parking, porches, BBQ and a fire pit. We ask our guests to take into account any other guests and the ubiquitous nature... so, for example, no fireworks or loud music until late. Thank you. Other things to note Thanks to their great passion for motorbikes (and especially for Harley-Davidson), my Dutch parents made lifelong friends in Poland as early as the early 1970s. During joint motorcycle trips they came to Masuria, a place they immediately fell in love with. They just oved the overwhelming nature and the simple (and therefore rich) life. However, the country was not easy for foreigners to visit in the following years, so it was not until 1991 that they (then with their three children - including me) traveled to Poland again in a Chevy motorhome. There was a tire-blowout, we had to stay around and wait for a new tire, heard this place was for sale and soon the sale was closed. A lot of love and work has gone into making the old farm into what it is today. As far as we are concerned, it is a little paradise, where many memories have been made over the years – and where many more will be made. There is no WiFi and we want to keep it that way for the time being, precisely because of the peace and quiet, the feeling of freedom and to be able to connect better with each other and the environment.
