The space This house was dismantled by us in a village of the Somme near Normandy, more than 40 years ago, and then rebuilt identically by the family with its original structure and appearance, which gives it its authentic character. Some structural timbers such as floor joists come from a house built under Henry IV. Much of the interior has been preserved in spirit and tradition. It consists of: ENTRANCE HALL  in trompe l'oeil, with clothes and shoe hooks. LIVING ROOM with sofa, large screen TV, CD player, large table with 6 chairs, antique sideboard for storing dishes and miscellaneous items. The wood-burning fireplace can only be used in winter and exclusively with dry ash wood. The supply of wood must be validated with the owner. KITCHEN  renovated, overlooking the outside, newly equipped with refrigerator, dishwasher, electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle. CORRIDOR CLEARANCE for access to bedrooms and bathrooms. BATHROOM with large shower, sink, and washing machine. Separate toilet. TWO LARGE BEDROOMS with new bedding in 140 bed, storage cabinet with wardrobe. Bed linen and towels are included in the base price (see house rules) EXTERIOR: A large courtyard with parking, and lawn overlooking a vegetable garden and fruit trees, all fully enclosed, perfect for children, a garden table, umbrella, charcoal barbecue, for outdoor dining, naps in the shade of trees, contemplating beautiful sunsets in the evening. Heating is included in the rental price from October to the following March. Outside this period, if the tenant wishes, 15 euros per heated night will be requested. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire living area, i.e. 92 m2 entirely on one level, accessible without any problem to people with reduced mobility. Other things to note Guests are the only occupants of the property. There are no pets in the house.
