Welcome to our cottage, a lake house retreat on Piseco Lake! Relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this cozy Adirondack camp. Perfect for a couple or small family. Fall in the cabin is so picturesque with the wood burning stone fireplace and gorgeous fall foliage views from every window. There are gorgeous lake views from most rooms! The space This is our version of paradise - A year round lake house with modern amenities. We purchased this gorgeous home last year and are so excited to offer it to other families! While we do not have cell service in the area, we have excellent high speed fiber optic internet and use Wi-Fi calling on our cell phones to allow calling and texting. ✔ 2 Wood burning fireplaces ✔ Fully Equipped Kitchen with custom maple cabinetry and granite counter tops. There is a 6 bed bunk room that we will close the door to and ask you not use. This listing is a discounted rate but we do also offer the entire camp with the bunk room and an extra sleeping cabin for an extra cost so please let me know if you are interested! We also own another property like this on the lake so let me know if you need extra room and I can send the link to that property as well! Half bath and laundry room located on the first floor. After enjoying an afternoon on the lake, our fully equipped kitchen is the perfect spot to prepare a family dinner. Not in the mood to cook? No worries! Our favorite restaurant, The Oxbow Inn, is located less than 10 mins away. Drive or snowmobile there! They have a wonderful menu but with a large group, takeout pizza is alway a hit! We are 15 minutes to the town of Speculator and Oak Mountain ski area. Speculator has a wide variety of small businesses, shops, restaurants, an ice cream stand, diners, gas station, grocery store/all purpose store, laundromat and a small brewery/barroom. Check out our guidebook for more details! The lake is right outside the house and is shallow and sandy which is perfect for kids and adults to swim in! The water does get quite deep beyond the dock. Please let us know if you plan on bringing a boat so we can provide info on how to use the public boat launch and our dock. We do have a kayak and canoe available for guest use! We have a Weber propane grill on the deck for guest use. Our new Adirondack chairs are on the open deck. There is no better place to have coffee, read a book, or just relax and listen to nature. Late checkout request: If you would like to request a late check out please ask in advance - we are sometimes able to accommodate ONLY if we do not have another guest checking in. We will notify you the day prior to checkout if we can accommodate. You may also inquire about renting an extra night to ensure a late check out is available. Seasonal items to note - Docks are usually put in in between May and June depending on weather and availability. You can still use the kayaks and canoes without the dock as they are put in and taken out on the shore. Docks are usually gradually taken out in September-October depending on weather and availability. Guest access Guests have full access to the camp, we just close the door to the bunk room, allowing usage of the entire rest of the home! There is an owners closet that will remain locked. We have this listing in order to offer a discounted price for couples and small families but we have the entire cabin listed as well so if you'd like access to the bunk room just message us! Again, no one else will be at the cabin with you but we are able to offer a lower price by not having to clean and wash the bedding for that room. Other things to note There is limited to no cell service around the lake but you can use the "wifi calling" setting on your cell phone to make calls and send/receive text messages etc. We will make sure you have the wifi password before you arrive!
