Sunrise Haven Private home on Sydenham Lake

Welcome to our home. This is where we live 12 months of the year on a quiet bay. We are offering to share a fantastic summer experience with you. Recommended for adults looking for a quiet space. Come and enjoy a week that you will never forget. Private setting, well treed with plenty of perennial gardens, as well as a beautiful vista of the lake. No light pollution, organic setting with no pesticide use. The best part is the sunrise. Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, bonfires. The space Set upon a hillside, and overlooking a lake. Well treed property with extensive perennial gardens. Beautiful view. Small forest for a brief stroll. Screened eating and resting area. There are 70 steps down to a landing at the waterfront where there is an area of cut grass and a small beach and a dock. There are chairs, a screened room, fire-pit and a storage shed down at the waterfront. This area is a place to go and unplug. Sweet bliss and perfect for sunrise viewing, morning sun or afternoon shade on a hot day. At the waterfront we have one canoe, two stand up paddle boards and two inflatable floating chairs. WE INSIST THAT ALL VISITORS AGREE TO WEAR LIFE JACKETS (personal flotation device) WHILE ON THE WATER (IN CANOE AND ON PADDLE BOARDS AND INFLATABLES) Guest access The entire home is yours to use. There are 6 steps to get into the front door. Once in the house there is one full flight pf stairs up to two bedrooms and a bath, and one flight down to the third bedroom in the basement. There is a bathroom on the main level as well. Two indoor living spaces and multiple outdoor living spaces for sitting and dining. There are 70 steps down to the waterfront. Coming up never gets easier but just go slowly. It's good for you. Once down there, it is such a delightful place to unplug. Pack your beach bag. Other things to note There is no central air conditioning. We don’t like it. BUT we will have a small air conditioning unit on the upper level to cool this area on a warm summer night.
