The Edward Hicks Suite is a beautifully appointed room that offers a king-sized bed and fireplace. It is commonly considered our most attractive room. Breakfast is served in an adjoining room and the second story window overlooks downtown Newtown. A roll-away bed is available for this room, with a fee. All rooms booked at The Temperance House must be charged occupancy and state taxes, not included in the price. Other things to note The Temperance House includes a bar, tavern, and fine dining restaurant on the property. We are walking-distance from scenic State Street and less than five miles from Tyler State Park, shopping, groceries, and any other needs.
