2 bdrm/1 ba 1200sq ft upstairs apartment in the middle of Eureka. Near Sequoia Park/Zoo, Redwood Acres, Humboldt Bay/Old Town; a comfortable stop off hwy101. Entire top story of 2 story home built in 1940 w/ self check-in and 1 off-street parking space outside the unit (space #1). Full kitchen, full bath. Queen bed in one bedroom, full bed in the other. Floor mattress available if needed. Access to shared outdoor patio area and yard. The space The entire upstairs in a 2 story home (hosts are downstairs and are usually on site). Private entrance via a flight of stairs to the upper story. Self check-in available through the gate with the bee sign on it to the left of the parking area. Access the front door via keypad using a 4-digit code (usually the last 4 of your phone number unless otherwise specified). 2 Bedrooms, each with a soft mattress and down comforters, 1 bedroom with a full mattress and redwood views, 1 bedroom with queen mattress and garden views and desk space. We also have a floor mattress that can be set up if requested. 1 Bathroom with showertub. We hope to offer an affordable safe place to stay for anyone traveling between towns or exploring our recreational areas and redwoods. Amenities include: Wifi 50" TV w/ Roku - Guest Netflix, disney plus and Hulu Off Street parking in a safe neighborhood Kitchen - including most items needed for cooking. Please just ask if you need something in particular though. Coffee/Tea Shampoo/Conditioner/Soap Hair Dryer Forced air heating *No air conditioning* - an old home and we rarely get temps over 75. *The fireplace in the second bedroom does not currently work unfortunately. We do host an additional AirBnb on site, so you may see others coming and going. Parking space #1 is all yours as well as the concrete patio areas around the outside of the main house. The parking area is really the only potentially shared space with other guests. Additional parking may be available upon request. Electric car plug-in may also be available upon request. We're happy to accommodate any request if we're able, please just ask. The house is a bit older, while we do our best to upkeep it, please keep in mind it has it's own quirks that come with the decades. :) Guest access Self check-in accessed by a flight of stairs and keycode pad, the entire upstairs apartment is all to yourself. Full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with very comfortable beds in a cozy setting. Shared patio and BBQ on the patio are available for use. Any of the grassy areas are also available for relaxing, as well as the hammock. Other things to note We have 1 sweet dog named Bailey in the main house downstairs. She is rarely in the yard unaccompanied but it may happen. If you would like to avoid any potential interaction with fur babies, please ask and we are happy to accommodate. Please keep gates closed between comings and goings. If bringing a service animal or emotional support animal please keep in mind that there are requirements from AirBnb. A guest’s emotional support animal must not be: -Out of control -Unhousebroken -Left alone at the listing without prior approval -Allowed into areas that are considered unauthorized to the guest -Allowed in a public space without being harnessed, leashed, or tethered and not under the guest’s control. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cats at this time. If you are planning to bring your pet, please inform us at the time of your booking. We just appreciate the heads up. Also please note, to conserve energy, we leave the heater off in between guests. The space warms up very quickly once turned on, just turn the round button on the wall thermostat and adjust to your comfort.
