Recently renovated with a total of 5 apartments, this self-sufficient apartment house boasts photovoltaic panels that generate electricity, ensuring a sustainable and eco-friendly stay. Enjoying a quiet location but just a few minutes walk from the village center, guests will find an array of amenities including cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, bank ATMs, taxi services, and a post office. From the spacious balcony, soak up stunning views of the sea and revel in the beauty of the morning sunrises. All five apartments are equipped with modern amenities, including two air conditioning units, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, lounge/dining area, LCD satellite TV, free Wi-Fi internet, and car parking. The Sunrise apartment, located on the first floor, offers 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom across 45 m². The apartment's living room features a comfortable pull-out sofa for two persons that extends into the fully-equipped kitchen and dining area. The bedroom boasts a private air conditioning unit and can accommodate an additional baby cot. The apartment's large terrace provides the perfect setting for dining, reading newspapers, or simply relaxing while enjoying the fabulous sea views. Eco Sunshine Apartments provide easy access to all three types of beaches, including rocky, pebble, and sandy, making it an excellent starting point for exploring the island. Discover the indispensable Pupnat harbor, the island of Proizd with its pebble beaches, which can be accessed by boat from Vela Luka, and the beautiful old town of Korcula. One of the biggest benefits of Eco Sunshine Apartments is the private outdoor heated pool, exclusively available to guests of the five apartments, with a separate area for toddlers (0.4m height of the water). The pool is open from April 21 to October 31 and provides a perfect spot for parents to relax on sun chairs while children play in the pool. Additionally, there are two BBQs available for guest use on the covered terrace adjacent to the pool, with breathtaking views of the sea. For those looking to explore the area, bicycles can be rented from the apartment house, including mountain bikes, child bikes, infant seats, and SUP boards. Speed Boat renting: 250 Euros/day + fuel (licence needed) NEW Bicycles: 20,00 € per day HOW DO I REACH LUMBARDA? With an airplane: The best way is to fly to Dubrovnik International Airport or Split International Airport (second best option). From there you can take a catamaran that drives to Korcula town. From Korcula you need another 10 driving minutes (taxi or bus) to your apartment. With a car: There are 3 ways to reach Lumbarda: from any point in Europe, you pass Slovenia to reach the coastal town of Split (big ferry harbour) and then take a 2,5-hour Ferry drive to Vela Luka (a town in Korcula Island), from where there is a 45-minute drive to Lumbarda. The second possibility is that you pass Split and reach the coastal town of Ploce and board a ferry for Trpanj (on Peljesac Peninsula), from where you need to drive 25 minutes to reach another harbour town, Orebic, where you board a car ferry to Korcula Island, only 5 kilometres away from Lumbarda. The third option is to go over the brand new Pelješki bridge from the town of Komarna. When you cross this bridge, you come from Komarna towards Brijesta. From there you have a 45-minute drive to Orebić. And then by ferry from Orebič to Korčula (Dominče). From there you only need 5 km to Lumbarda.
