Welcome to Les Champs de la Goutte, a fully renovated gîte located in Moussey, a small, quiet village in the Vosges. Ideal for couples, families or friends, this accommodation offers comfort, tranquillity and nature. The space The gîte sleeps up to 4 people (plus an extra child's bed on the mezzanine). It comprises : - 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other with two single beds, - A mezzanine with a futon for extra sleeping and a reading area, - A spacious living room with lounge, sofa, connected TV, dining area and fully-equipped kitchen, as well as a wood-burning stove to delight your evenings, - A modern bathroom with a large shower. Outside, you'll particularly appreciate the landscaped terrace and large garden with masonry barbecue, perfect for making the most of the surrounding countryside and the exceptional peace and quiet of this location. Bed linen, towels and cleaning services are available on request, to ensure your stay is as relaxing as possible. Guest access Activities close to the gîte: - The Resistance Memorial at Moussey. This commemorative site pays tribute to the events of the Second World War, in particular Operation Loyton. - Walk to Lac de la Maix - Vexaincourt (25 mins). A small lake in the middle of the forest, with a chapel on the water's edge, ideal for a nature break or picnic. -Visit to the Callunes garden - Ban-de-Sapt (20 min). A pretty botanical garden with colourful flowers, landscaped paths and beautiful views. Lac de Pierre-Percée (30 km). A large lake with a Canadian feel, perfect for walking or canoeing. - Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park: Moussey lies at the gateway to one of France's largest regional nature parks. It boasts remarkable biodiversity and a host of outdoor activities including hiking, climbing and cycling. -. The remains of the Château du Salm, around 25 km from Moussey, are nestled in the forest and can be reached by an easy hike. The site is steeped in medieval history and offers views over the Vosges forest. - Le Donon or the sacred mountain of the Vosges. Situated 35 kilometres from Moussey, the Donon is an emblematic peak steeped in history. It is home to a reconstructed Gallo-Roman temple, offering spectacular views over the surrounding valleys.
