Once a outbuilding with a historic Well, this bright, newly renovated annex-style lodge combines a modern exterior with a warm rustic feel to the interior. It offers an open-plan living and kitchen area leading to a comfortable bedroom and a good-sized bathroom with walk-in shower. A secure fenced garden, ideal for dogs. Parking is available, and the lodge is just a 3–4 minute walk from the local pub serving traditional food. The space Newly renovated self contained annex with private entrance and garden. The Garden has strong high fencing and double gating to accommodate dogs of all breeds. The lodge sleeps 2 comfortably but will sleep 4 with the use of a double sofa bed if required. Guest access The property has self check in and out with full use of all areas available Other things to note Milborne Port is a village situated just outside of the historic market town of Sherborne. This beautiful town boasts historic buildings such as Sherborne Abbey, old and new castles, manor house, medieval and Georgian buildings to name but a few. The quaint high street offers many restaurants and cafes along with independent shops and the recently renovated art and cultural space ‘The Sherborne’. Well worth a visit. Milborne Port is not without its own history around its successful glove industry and trading port. It also boasts award winning fine dining in the beautiful historic old school house now called ‘The Clock Spire’ just a few minute walk away. If this is not your taste or budget don’t worry Milborne port has an award-winning fish and chip shop with restaurant open on Fridays with themed food nights and a village pub offering traditional food. Lets not forget the many restaurants and bars in and around Sherborne. Milborne Port village is known for its historic picturesque setting, featuring stone and thatched cottages set in a rural farming community. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside that you can access just a short walk from the accommodation and walk for miles, or pop out for tea and cake at ‘reborn’ the village café. Further details of the area will be available in the accommodation information booklet. The accommodation is self-check-in and out, details of how will be shared nearer to the time of your stay. You will have the use of the entire property including a private garden and parking. Please note gravel path and a slightly raised threshold on entry to the accommodation. The private garden offers high strong secure fencing with double gating suitable for all breeds of dog. Dog accessories provided include food bowels, Blankets, toys, outside shower with shampoo and grooming mitt along with towels. Dog bed can be provided on request. Let’s not forget the treats. The accommodation is a fully equipped self-contained property providing electric work top hob and multi oven, fridge with small freezer compartment, coffee machine and kettle, Toaster, steamer, slow cooker, toasted sandwich maker. USB sockets available for charging phones. The lounge area provides a smart TV with access to Apps such as Netflix, Prime, I-player, ITV-X for you to log into. There is also a DVD/CD player with a selection of Movies and CD’s or you can link up to a speaker and play music of your choice. A few books and puzzles with board also available for your enjoyment. Double sofa bed available if required. You will enjoy the comfort of a king-size Hypnos bed, with hypoallergenic bedding. Wardrobe space, 2-dressing gowns and complimentary slippers along with standard toiletries and towels. Beach towels can be provided on request. Hair dryer provided. The bathroom is a walk-in shower. A shower stall is available for your use if required. For these wet days an electric heated dryer is provided.
