Recently refurbished the cottage offers stylish, comfortable accommodation with two en-suite bedrooms — perfect for couples and families seeking a relaxing getaway and base for exploring the Dales. The space This cosy, fully furnished two-bedroom terraced cottage, built from traditional sandstone and limestone with UPVC double glazing, is set over two floors and offers stunning views of the Yorkshire Dales National Park from every room. There’s a small garden to the front and a pleasant enclosed grassed garden at the back with seating — perfect for enjoying a relaxing drink on warm summer evenings after a day of walking or exploring. Parking is available on the main street in front of the cottage. The entrance porch leads into a welcoming lounge with a cosy log-burning stove, Freeview TV, books and games, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The ground-floor kitchen is well-equipped with crockery and glassware, an electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, hot-drink facilities, dishwasher, and washing machine. Upstairs are two light and airy bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms and stunning views of the Dales: • Bedroom 1: King-size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and modern electric radiator. En-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, sink, toilet, and heated towel rail. • Bedroom 2: Two single beds (can be made into a double — please specify when booking), chest of drawers, and modern electric radiator. En-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, sink, toilet, and heated towel rail. No smoking throughout the cottage. Dogs are welcome (maximum of 2 per booking). Please inform us when making your booking. Dogs should be kept off beds to ensure comfort for all guests. Soiled or excessively hairy bedding/furniture may incur an additional £15 charge per room. Dogs are permitted in the enclosed garden but must be supervised due to nearby livestock. Other Things to Note Initial fuel for the multi-fuel burner are provided. The surrounding area offers excellent outdoor opportunities, from gentle riverside strolls to more challenging fell walks. Many walks start directly from the cottage, including Hardraw Force (England’s highest unbroken waterfall) and the Pennine Way. The cottage is ideally located for exploring nearby villages such as Muker, Askrigg, and Bainbridge, as well as waterfalls, abbeys, and viewpoints throughout the Yorkshire Dales. Guest access Guests have full use of the cottage and enclosed back garden area. However the enclosed garden is accessible via a shared walkway with other properties.
