Dairy Cottage is idyllic to explore the beauty of North Wales with hiking trails on your doorstep, a short drive to the local town centre and plenty to do in the surrounding areas. This bright space features two comfortable bedrooms (king & single), cosy lounge with a double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, high-speed WiFi and a TV with all streaming services. There is parking for two cars and the dining room and private decking have wonderful views of the rolling hills The space I N S I D E Indulge in the comfort and tranquillity of this traditional Welsh stone cottage, combining modern design with rustic charm. The space features a sizeable entrance hall for shoes and coat storage, that leads into a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals. There is also an inbuilt washer/dryer, laundry tablets and fabric conditioner The entrance hall leads into a spacious yet cosy living room encompassing two comfortable arm chairs and two double seat sofa’s. One of the double seat sofa’s pulls out into a double bed. There is a TV with a Roku Streaming Stick, DVD player, DVD’s, books, board games and games for your entertainment The dining room includes seating for five, views of the rolling hills, a beautiful exposed stone wall and plenty of natural light Upstairs there is a bathroom stocked with fluffy towels, body wash, shampoo and conditioner The main bedroom has a king-size bed, two walk-in wardrobes for luggage and clothes storage, an armchair and the best views in the cottage from the large window equipped with room darkening blinds The single bedroom is suitable for adults and children alike with a chest of drawers, bookcase and room darkening blinds Please note we have a travel cot, high chair, children’s crockery/cutlery and plenty of toys for babies and toddlers. We ask that guests bring their own sheets and bedding for the travel cot, please. The rolling hills never cease to take our breath away and you may find yourself lost in the magic of the rich landscape Dairy Cottage offers the ultimate gateway to adventure in the surrounding crags and trails of North Wales, with hikes on your doorstep across Dee Valley National Landscape to Eryri National Park (Snowdonia National Park) just 50 minutes away. A hike of particular interest is Moel Famau (Mother Mountain), the highest in the Clwydian Range and the highest point in Flintshire county. It can be spotted by the jubilee tower at its peak Dairy Cottage’s rural village location allows guests to savour clear unpolluted skies for star gazing at night and beautiful bird song in the morning Guest access Dairy Cottage is all yours! Please respectfully enjoy your stay, keeping in mind that we live here too, as well as our lovely village neighbours and our small holding animals Dairy Cottage has its own car park that can fit 2 cars. The car park is gated and off the road with very little passing traffic. Please be aware that the car park is shared and we politely ask that the gate always be kept clear and closed.
