The space A well appointed and comfortable family home in the heart of this traditional North Devon Village. Chittlehampton is a peaceful English village full of pretty thatched cottages, a beautiful church and square. Walking distance (two minutes) to the local pub The Bell Inn which serves great food and a large garden with childrens play area wide selection of Ciders and Gin and the village shop has a butchery, bakery, post office, and tea shop. Unallocated on street parking outside the house. Ground Floor Entrance hallway leading to bedroom, kitchen and dining space. Ground floor bedroom with double bed and feature fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped and you will find everything you need for your stay: plenty of cutlery, bowls, plates, glasses etc as well as the usual utensils. Range cooker, fridge with small freezer (note there is an additional large freezer in the outbuilding directly outside the kitchen), microwave, cafetiere. Large farmhouse style table and chairs. Downstairs Toilet/Shower Room with large walk-in shower. Sun Room/Conservatory with seating, bi-fold doors on to a patio and with views of the garden. Garden Large lawned garden with views over the village from the top. Picnic bench for enjoying sundowners or reading a book. Table and chairs on the patio for outdoor dining. Please note that there is a small pond in the garden that is fenced off for safety, but we would advise that little ones are supervised. Outbuilding that is a utility room with washing machne, tumble dryer, large freezer and sink. Charcoal BBQ provided. First Floor Large lounge with comfy sofas and chairs, period fireplace, Smart TV. Bedroom 2 - Double bedroom with feature fireplace and views over the garden. Bedroom 3 - Twin bedroom wih two single beds, views over garden. Third floor/attic room Bedroom 4 - Further large double bedroom with ample wardrobe space and a dressing area with dressing table. Bathroom with bath and over-bath shower, toilet and sink. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels (beach towels not provided) and Wi-Fi included. One well behaved dog is welcome. Guest access All of the house is accessible apart from one locked room in the attic.
