Soak up the view and take in starry nights in your very own log fired hot tub it’s blissful. The space Dales Bike Centre is a destination in itself with the famous Cakery Cafe on site along with Bike hire, Bike shop, Glamping Pods and Bunk room accommodation. As well as cycling and mountain biking, Swaledale is a perfect location for walking, trail running and just exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Being gateway to the 'Swale Trail', a cycle route for the family being off-road and waymarked following the river Swale up'Dale and back. Bring your own bike or hire bikes with 10% discount for Pod guest. For the more experienced mountain bike rider there is no end of more advanced route options, just ask the bike shop team for advice. For Walking or Trail Running, from your Pod door there are the most beautiful paths to explore with views stunning views as the reward. After a day of exploring near or far, a refreshment will have been well earned.. There's 4 pubs within walking distance offering great food and beer in a warm country pub setting. Dales Bike Centre Cakery Cafe opens 9am everyday is famed for its cake, with over 25 different delights for you to sample. Call in for a hearty English breakfast to get you set for the day. For later in the day choose from the varied cafe menu be it a panini, great sandwich, jacket potato or homemade soup. Coffee is another passion, locally roasted and bursting with flavour crafted by our baristas all day everyday. Take a pew inside the 70 seat cafe with a great view from glass wall. Soak up the sunshine outside in the courtyard or under the canopy on the lawn taking in the stunning Dales scenery Inside Space Large 7metre cabin with a dinning & living area, king sized bed, sofa (pulls out to extra double bed), bathroom with double shower, table & 2x chairs, kitchen area complete with hob, combination oven, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, drawer full of utensils and cupboard full of pans, plates bowls etc. Heated by efficient panel heater and heated towel rail in the bathroom. To keep you connected your Pod has Wifi, bluetooth speaker system and internet TV. Bedding is provided, 2x bath towels and 1x hand towel included. Outside Space Step out your Pod to the Pod Porch with 2 outside chairs for soaking up the stunning view. Pod looks across shared lawn area with 3 other carefully placed Pods to maximise privacy. Parking is in the Dales Bike Centre car park close to your Pod. Hot tub heated by log burner, a log bag and starting kit included in the stay. On arrival the log burner fire will be set and ready to light, hot tub takes approximately 2-3 hours to heat up. Once the log burner is lit, it does need attending to every 10-15 minutes to add logs and keep the fire roaring! To save you the hassle we can pre-light the burner and have the Hot Tub up to temperature for your arrival. Pre-light by prior arrangement (£15 charge). Drop us a message to arrange Pre-light.
