Navigators House has been lovingly restored to offer you comfortable, spacious, self contained accommodation. The elegant ground floor lodgings offer a private sitting room (with open fire), ensuite double bedroom (with a large walk in shower) and private gardens for al fresco dining. Once the home of Captain Penrose, a brilliant seaman who circumnavigated the globe, it is the perfect stopover on your way to the Scillies, or a longer stay to discover the delights of PZ and surrounding area. The space Entering the garden from the street you will find an arbour seat to your left and Al Fresco table and chairs to your right. Surrounded by sub tropical plants and climbers that provide privacy and seclusion from the street. As you enter into the house the large hall way is all yours with room for coats and walking boots and your stuff! The Secure double doors separate your accommodation from the rest of the house (we have a separate entrance to rear of property). To your left is the elegant sitting room packed with antiquities and interesting books. A double sofa, coffee table and footstall face the fireplace with mantelpiece. A Davenport desk & chair are next to the window seat with views onto the garden. Opposite you will find the bright double bedroom, fitted with shelves and another window seat. The bed is a brand new Double from Dusk which is super comfortable, remote controlled lighting creates an easy atmosphere. From this the large ensuite bathroom with toilet, stylish sink and fabulous walk in shower with both large ceiling rose and hand held shower. The water pressure is fantastic and the combi boiler provides plenty of hot water on demand. There is great lighting and high speed fibre optic broadband throughout. All of this is for your exclusive use. We are happy to greet you and settle you in, but after that were behind closed doors!! Of course available if needs be. Otto my lurcher is very friendly but he is quite big, so if you are not a dog person please do let me know before you arrive and Ill make sure he's somewhere else!
