Located just north of Marion, Virginia, 22 miles west of Hwy 77 (exit 52, Bland) on route 42, you will be able to hike or ride horses across many miles of local trails or the Appalachian Trail itself. This area of Southwest Virginia, known as the scenic rich “Blue Ridge Highlands”, is replete with historic beauty and offers something for all seasons. The world famous "Back of the Dragon" motorcycle stretch of Hwy 16 is only 3 miles west of our cabin on rte 42. As a testimony to the beauty of the area a Lassie movie was made in this valley.
