This 1906 home was previously owned by well known muralist Rose Johnson, the home retains many of her original faux finishes. Stay as long as you like in this long or short term rental with covered porch and outdoor furniture. There is easy parking on the street in front of the house and just 8 steps up to the front door. The space You'll enjoy the open plan setup and flexible sleeping arrangements. A full well equipped kitchen with Electric Range, Microwave , Dishwasher, Coffee and Tea. The home is equipped with Central Air Conditioning and Heat for your comfort. The Bathroom features a separate modern Shower as well as an Antique Clawfoot Tub and Laundry for guests use. The house. built in 1906 is located on Brewery Gulch. Back in those Copper Boom days this street had numerous Saloons, Bordellos and was the Red Light District. At the time, Bisbee was the largest town between St Louis and San Francisco! During you stay a visit to the mining Museum is a must. Although major Copper mining activity in Bisbee ceased in the 1970's, you can still take the very popular Queen Mine Underground Tour which takes you 1500 feet under the Mule Mountains! Please note: We provide basic consumables such as Coffee, Tea Bags, Creamer, Paper Towels and Toilet Tissue, enough for a 2 night stay. If your booking is longer than 2 days, be sure to bring sufficient supply for your needs. Alternatively, there is a Safeway Supermarket in south Bisbee which stocks almost everything you may need! Across the street you will find "Mimosa Market" a classic, vintage and very traditional general store. Just try the Bread made on the premises! Guest access Welcome! We use a keyless entry system.
